I love the fabric, the bright colors and it is super soft. It does have a good bit of stretch to it. That is all I can say that is positive. It is sort of true to size... I say sort of because if you are tall or have ample breasts, it will show your mid section every time you move. I feel like it should have been labeled Petite XL, or perhaps they could have used a more average model in their photos.

I am reviewing the Lou Fair Isle crew sweater in a size XL. For some background information on how it fits on me: I am 5’10”, 210lbs, and typically take a size 14/16 or XL. I would call this sweater true to size. Okay, so y’all see that I gave the sweater two stars, so I’m going to talk about the good, bad, and the ugly. I’m an optimist, so let’s start with the good! It’s a pretty sweater. The navy is a great shade and the fair isle print is gorgeous. Very classic and chic. It’s also warm; I wore it out on a 40F day without an accompanying jacket and it kept me toasty. The sleeves are also a nice, long length; being a tall woman, I run the risk of clothing being too short in the sleeves. What’s bad about this sweater is the length. When I ordered something advertised as “classic fit”, I’m not expecting a sweater that is cropped. I do not like cropped tops, especially for cold weather clothing. Why would I want to expose my stomach to the elements every time I have to stretch or move? It was annoying to have to keep readjusting my sweater as I went about my day. Now, the ugly: wow, I wore my sweater for a day out running errands (about 8hrs) and it’s pilling like crazy! This sweater retailed at $70, why is it performing like something you’d buy at a Walmart? I’m not particularly rough on my clothing either. I would not purchase a sweater from Levi’s after trying this one, especially for full price. I guess I’ll stick to their jeans!

The sweater I received didn't lay flat around the back shoulder line. After turning it inside-out I saw poor stitching at those areas. I will be returning the sweater.

The insde seam where the yoke meets the body of the sweater rubs my arms, so it is very uncomfortable

Runs short in the waist area. Quality of materials ie yarn is suboptimal. It was already pilling when I purchased it.

I bought this sweater and looked forward to receiving it. I don't know if I received a previously worn sweater, but upon opening it, the sweater material was pilled at the shoulders and on the sides. The sweater was very thin and not worth the sale price, let alone the full price. Very disappointing purchase.

e. I was really excited about the red sweater I bought. The color looked fantastic, and I received numerous compliments when I wore it. However, by mid-afternoon, I noticed that the sweater had developed a bunch of little balls on the front. I was incredibly disappointed as I had high hopes for this item. It's really frustrating to spend a significant amount of money on clothes, only to find that they are made so cheaply.

Maybe it’s just me, but, it didn’t appear to be oversized & boxy. Oh! I am so over the oversized & since I’m venting, cropped clothing trends too. It would be really nice if manufacturers offered “Boxy,” or “Form-Fitting,” just as plus-size, petite & tall sizing. If you like boxy, I’ll recommend.

Not like picture. The one I got looks like a returned item that has been worn and washed. The red color bleed on the white band that has turned pink. Color is not bright and shows signs of fading. I can’t believe the vendor pass this on as brand new item. Definitely going back. I do not recommend.

I waited several weeks for this item to be delivered; the day it was scheduled for delivery I received an email stating the item was cancelled hence my one star review. To add insult to injury I’m still waiting for my refund!
