I bought these today as an exchange for a mid rise straight jean I bought online during the holidays. I would say since it’s such a dramatic high rise, to try them on in store if you can. I usually don’t go for such a tall rise (it’s over a foot!) but I was pleasantly surprised by how it lengthens my legs! I have a short torso and long legs that I like to emphasize so it worked out well for me, but I never would have picked these for myself if I hadn’t tried them on in store. If you’re on the fence, order them and make sure you can return them for a full refund (red tab members get free shipping). Otherwise, these were exactly what I was looking for in a high rise straight jean! Thank you Levi’s!!

I bought these in one color, tried them on, and then immediately ordered two more colors. the BEST fitting jeans for midsize folks with smaller waist with wider hips and booty. there is ZERO gap in the back!!! I love all of my 501s but the gap is pretty bad. these have the perfect level of stiffness to be extremely flattering to your figure while also being stretchy enough to move around and sit down comfortably… this also includes enough stretch to eat a meal and still have the jeans fit without hurting lol. they fit perfectly from day one and do not shrink significantly when you eventually need to wash which means they STAY true to size. they also don’t get super baggy and weird when you wear them several times before washing which is something I usually struggle with. I would love to own these in like a carpenter tan color, a chestnut brown, and an ultra dark black (since the current black option is already vintage-y and faded). maybe also some options with contrast stitching. these are the only high rise jeans I will ever buy from now on. period.

I love these jeans. They are not too short, a huge plus with all the cropped versions out there. True denim and high rise, perfect! I need a slim fit through seat and thighs and these were a little looser than the mid rise jeans I bought But I LOVE THEM I bought another pair immediately.

I had to exchange my jeans for a different size and the process was seamless ❤️

I do not agree with the previous review saying this style does not suit shorter people! I'm exactly the same height as her, 5'3'' but I LOVE LOVE LOVE the 12-inch rise! Levi's, please keep the flattering 12-inch rise in shorter lengths too! Many shorter people like me, could have slightly longer torso, and are in absolute need of these! Not to mention that the majority above 5'4'' would appreciate these for sure. Already recommended to all my friends.

I am sooo happy that I finally found the perfect jeans that make me look flawless yet being very comfortable. I am tall, 5'11", apparently with the long torso, so the waist on these jeans are exactly where it suppose to be, the butt area is comfortable, length is ok too. I am so addicted that i probably will buy in different colors.

I bought this a couple of years ago (so take this review with a grain of salt) and still wear them everyday! I am 5'6" and about 115 pounds, always struggled to find true high rise due to my long torso but this sits at my true waist and almost hides my belly button. CAUTION: there is no stretch.

I wasn’t quite sure if this was going to fit me well but to my surprise it did, it’s just snug enough at top and has a good fit towards the bottom.

These jeans are so great I almost don’t want to tell anyone about them. But I’m nice so I will. My waist is quite high and I’ve always struggled to find jeans that made me look “snatched”. These actually hit at my natural waist. I have muscular thighs and butts and these have enough room where if I squat down it doesn’t feel like I’m gonna bust the seams. Bought the sonoma case wash, beautiful color, not too light, not too dark and just perfect for a vintage look! Super high rise, I would love it even more if it’s button fly, since buttonfly design can flatter my tummy more idk why. Thinking of get it altered to an ankle length, I’m 5”4 and it’s just til my sneakers. Legs look straight and love to match it with cute top tucked into the jeans! A bit of stretch, good for me this chubby body. Iam 72kg and I bought 29, a bit tight but I don’t want the hip area too loose so will eat lesserhips looks so good in this jeans

The request was to find a high waisted, medium wash, straight leg jean with full length... All the boxes checked and the fit is perfect!!!!

I'm 5'9 and curvy, purchased 31/29 and they fit like a dream. Good quality denim with a bit of elastication. The colour is classic. I have them in Marin Hits also and noted that style wore well (IE. Comfortable from the get go and although loosened slightly they didn't go overly baggy on the bum). I'm hoping this colour remains true to size after being a worn a little. An absolute fave in style, highly recommend.

I purchased this style in a few colours and whilst others hit well I found the Marin Park a little bigger. I am 5'9 and purchased the 31/31 - waist looser than other colours and the length I felt was a little too long to style it as a wanted. I've returned for the 30/29 as the colour and fit are just lovely. Comfort, quality and style!

I'm 5'9 and a size 32/41 inch waist/hips. I ordered the size 31 in Marin Hits and they fit like a dream. Thick quality denim with a bit of elastication, I wore them all day to dinner and drinks, with no problem. Super comfy, very flattering across the stomach area and they predominantly retain their shape. Slightly looser on the bum/waist after a days wear but not detrimental to the style or comfort. My only gripe is the wear on the left knee, that being said it didn't deter me from keeping them following a purchase via a sale. Do not hesitate to buy the Marin Hits. Excellent jeans.

Not only is this style of Levi's very high quality (I think they are 100% or 99% cotton with 1% elasticity? I can't remember exactly what the percentage is. Anyway, it makes for a very sturdy and heavy pair of jeans!), but they are very flattering and and a great every day wear that goes with most of my outfits. I literally have these jeans in all of the available washes, that is how much I love them. I hope that these jeans never go out and Levis continues to keep this style in stock. I'm waiting on them to bring a black wash in this style. Since they are heavier jeans, they are great for fall/winter/spring. I live in a place with cooler weather most of the year (Minnesota) and a lot of snow, so they work great for me. If you live in a place with high heat and humidity, due to the high percentage of cotton, they might be too hot to wear for you most days. I tried wearing these in the summer (90-100° F with 70-100% humidity) and they were extremely hot for me. Anyway, I am a pear shaped girl (34, 28, 40) and am short (5'4 1/2" couldn't even be an even 5'5" lol) but athletic and I fluctuate between a 28/29 and 27/29 depending on the rinse (The lighter washes tend to have more give and elasticity than the dark washes from what I have noticed). It is hard for me to find jeans that can fit my booty and look flattering at the same time, but this style works great for me. I am a 30 in length for my jeans and the 29 for this style works perfectly for my body. I barely notice a difference in the length, despite it technically being an inch higher in length than my normal 30. I usually wear boots, and this style works great with boots. Not too cropped of an ankle, but just enough crop where it slightly shows off your boots.

Usually with my skinny body type H/R jeans don’t work for me, until these!! Hands down the most perfect fit (I’m 5’6 / 23-25 in jenas / Size 0-2 Lulu Lemon … purchased 23 & 24 in these, 24 was too big in waist & bum. 23 fits pretty much perfectly thank you Levis!! (Note: I literally treid over 30 different pairs of Guess Jeans & NONE fit, they’re sizing has gotten way too inconsistent so I gave up & tried Levis. Levis is now my new favourite jean, I really wanted a high rise because my upper body length is longer & all the tops are made so short now - finally I have jeans where it doesn’t look like I have a crop top on everyday!!
