More raw denim please!

The fit and style is great! Exactly what I'm looking for! I bought my normal size (26 x 30) and put them through the hot wash to shrink them to my exact size. If you are looking for an exact fit without having to shrink them, I would recommend going 2 inches smaller in the waist and height.

Amazing authentic real denim that fits women!

Finally! Real 100% cotton raw selvage denim cut for women! No more wearing men’s pants and trying to make it work. This pair fits like a dream. Usually selvage denim is hard to cut for women but somehow they make the hip-waist ratio work so that it’s the absolute perfect fit that will only mould to your body even better with wear. Fits very large so I sized down 2 from my usual size and it’s perfect. Please make more of this kind of raw no stretch denim for women with a classic selvage finish! No more stretchy teenager pants please.

J’ai pris 1 taille au dessus sachant qu’il allait rétrécir. Lavé la première fois à 60, il est nickel.
Belle couleur brute.
La poste l’a livré à la boutique près de chez moi après m’avoir bien annoncé à domicile (ce que j’avais demandé) mais la boutique (la Défense) m’a prévenue aussitôt. Merci à eux.

Un vrai 501 brut et à boutons pour fille.
C’est un produit de qualité très similaire aux 501 des années 70 . . Je le sais, j’y étais : ))
Attention, ne prenez pas 2 tailles au dessus de la vôtre comme conseillé sur le site Levis. Moi j’ai pris 1 taille au-dessus de la mienne et c’est bien suffisant.

These fit better than the original. Pulled them on and found them to be the best fitting jeans that I have had in a very long time. These fit better on me than the ones I had in the 80’s.

These are the best women jeans on the entire website! I suggest go up one size . For example , I wear a Levi’s w30 but purchased a w31.. they fit perfect! I suggest everyone to purchase, you will be happy!

Bonjour, pour la première fois je suis déçue de Levis. D'autant plus que je ne porte QUE des jean's Levis. J'avais repéré le 510 150th birthday slevedge dont il est conseillé de l'acheter 2 tailles au-dessus et de le faire bouillir. Ce que j'ai fait. Comme j'ai eu un doute j'ai appelé 2 magasins Levis à Paris : l'un a confirmé, l'autre n'était pas au courant de cette méthode de faire bouillir. Bon, j'ai suivi les conseils. J'ai reçu un jean vraiment très grand que j'ai fait bouillir 30 mn. Ça n'a rien changé. Dans la foulée, je l'ai repassé : ça n'a rien changé. Tant qu'à faire, je l'ai lavé à 60 avec un essorage à 1200 T. Ça n'a rien changé. J'aurais pu m'en douter : les jeans Levis sont si solides qu'ils ne bougent pas : ils vieillissent seulement, et ils vieillissent super bien. Ils ne rétrécissent pas ni en taille ni en longueur, ni plus étroit. Dans les années 80, j'avais déjà essayé de prendre un bain avec mon 501 comme on le conseillait : en vain. Voilà, je me retrouve avec un jean de 2 tailles trop grand, un jean à 150€ que j'adore et que je ne porterai jamais, invendable maintenant. J'ai un peu les boules. Sinon : vos jeans sont super. Et le tout nouveau modèle 150 International French Limited est encore mieux. C'est toujours mieux en Levis, dommage pour moi.

Bizarrely oversized

These appear to be high quality, but they are freakishly large. I ordered them in a 28X30—my usual size in the Levi’s I order most often (The 312 “Shaping slim”). For reference, I’m 5’3”, 127lbs, and usually wear a 4 in pants (2 if the company uses “vanity sizing”). In these 501 Rigid Selvedge jeans, the 28 I got is two or maybe three sizes too big all over—waist, seat, and thighs. I can pull them up without unbuttoning them. Since the 26 was sold out, I exchanged for a 25. Let’s see if that fits.

Mysterious and unpredictable

Since these start off large and are intended to shrink quite a bit with washing it’s very difficult to gauge sizing. Getting them right is an art, you need to wash to size, and no give-backs once you’ve washed. And was frustrated to see these went on promo days after purchasing.

We recommend you purchase the size that fits you best before washing, and they should still fit fine after washing. To minimize any shrinkage, we suggest you wash your jeans in cold water and line dry.
Additionally, slight alterations to fabric treatment, finishing, or composition can influence the fit of a pair of jeans. Moreover, each pair of jeans may fit individuals differently.

Die Hose sitzt an keiner Stelle, der Schnitt ist eine Katastrophe und leider hat die Hose nichts mit einer 501 gemeinsam. Sorry aber Levi´s sollte dringend mal aufhören 1000 Hosenformen unter 501 zu verkaufen. Das verwirrt und ist absolut irreführend weil diese Hose hat nichts mit der ursprünglichen 501 gemeinsam - von den Knöpfen abgesehen. Die Hose ging zurück weil sie keinerlei Form hatte.

Nada contenta con el resultado. Compré una talla más grande a la habitual y seguí las instrucciones de lavado y secado tal y como indicaban: los lavé a 60ºC durante una hora, centrifugué lo máximo y los llevé puestos 4 horas mientras se secaban al sol. Me vienen ENORMES, hacen bolsa en la parte delantera y glúteos. Quedan horribles. Escribí a Levis para ver si podían recomendar algo para encoger los pantalones y no he recibido respuesta. Esta es la segunda reseña que escribo ya que la anterior no la han publicado. Me sorprende que este pantalón tenga tantas opiniones buenas y ninguna mala... me dejé llevar por esos comentarios y ERROR. Huid de estos pantalones.
