What I was Looking For

I purchased this for myself ( female) because I could not find a decent black shirt sleeve shirt. Wasn’t too sure about size ( used size chart & tried on husbands shirts). I have many Levi’s denim so I knew that brand can run small, and I checked out reviews here. I was concerned the “100% cotton” was going to be heavy denim but it is not ( thrilled), it is in fact 100% Indian cotton. Washed in cold, put on permanent press cycle and removed while damp, hung to dry. It has a few slight wrinkles, has not shrunk. It’s fits a bit oversized and the sleeves are to my elbow but I’m ok with that. It’s just about what I wanted. Long enough to wear out or stay tucked in, unlike many women’s blouses. Came sooner than expected. One gripe: no packing slip or receipt from Macys!!! Glad I don’t have to return it.

Not my style

This shirt has a scoop hem, which is longer front/back and shorter at the hips. And the shirt is very short; the hem at the hips barely touches the tops of my pants. (I’m 5’ 9” for info.) So if I tuck the hem in, it comes out easily. To wear it, either don’t sit down 😂, or wear it outside of the pants, not tucked in. Not my style. Otherwise OK for looks and fit.

Wrinkly after wash

Claimed this cotton linen shirt for my husband. The material feels like denim linen mix, it’s not soft or smooth. This shirt has the same texture as my reusable fabric shopping bags. In my opinion it does not feel good or comfortable on the skin. It also requires ironing after every wash otherwise it looks wrinkly and not flattering, as seen in the second picture. Not recommended if you don’t own an iron or simply too busy to iron. In terms of style, this is fitting for someone who’s in their 20’s.

Poor Quality

Very disappointed in the quality of this levi shirt. it’s very thin and see through. this shirt is also very yellow and i thought it was more of a cream beige color. Also runs small. I will have to return.
