I choose this shirt because of the material it made from and that it has western pockets. I didn't expect that it would be so well made and feel so great to wear. It feels like a brand new shirt from 50 years ago. The denim is thick, high quality and soft. Even the stitching of this shirt appears to be of a high quality. Super stylish, thick over shirt for the spring/ fall. I live in Texas, and this shirt is perfect to throw on over a t-shirt for those crazy days where it’s 40 in the morning and 90 by the afternoon. Fabric has a nice chunky weak with some texture which I love. The pockets definitely have a very western style, so if that’s your thing this is an awesome shirt.

I’d been looking for a hickory stripe shirt to wear with denim for some time and this suits my purposes. The fit is definitely relaxed, but Levi’s seems to have just increased the size of all proportions including the neck and sleeves. While I have long arms the collar is quite large and has difficulty sitting properly under a coat. Otherwise the denim is typical Levi’s quality as in light but serviceable. The pearl snaps are great as well, although they only seem to be included in certain colourways.
