This shirt, with the "railroad stripes", is not only good-looking, but really feels good to wear. It's a quality product. I bought one for myself, to use as an over-shirt, and then just had to get two more for my son and daughter-in-law. Please note that the sizes "run small".

Solid and fairly thick cotton. This black, size large is just right. I'm around a 16-16.5 X 33 shirt in regular fit and this matches that. Not baggy and not too slim or tight. A rich black colour.. Love the subtle black snaps.. Great quality. Great shirt!

The Classic Standard Fit Western Shirt is a quintessential Levi's product. I chose the New Black Rinse, and hope it will be made in red and other colors using the same standards. It is made of a rugged denim fabric with enough heft and durability to serve as a work shirt. It looks great with any Levi's jeans, but looks like a million bucks when paired with black Levi's. Levi's should keep this shirt in the line ALWAYS — what we used to call in retail a "never out" item.

This shirt is excellent quality true to the Levis reputation. Bought a medium based on reviews I read saying the garment is generous in size. My husband wears a solid Medium sz shirt. I have to return it for a large. So .,. Next time I will buy both sizes and keep the one that fits. Love that Levis still makes the snap button down.

Pairs & styles well with my 511s, 517s, & 527s. happy found the Red Cast Rinse finally back in limited availability in size XS, as the S has always been baggy & ill-fitting on my slender frame (Barstow in Slim Fit being discontinued many years ago, & the Classic Western Shirt is not available in a Slim Fit). Have received many compliments on both the dark blue denim color & the styling, especially when paired with my 517s & 527s & my western boots & Stetson hats.

As the Barstow shirt remains unavailable in XS (& Slim Fit version discontinued many years ago), the Classic Standard Fit Western Shirt is the only option from Levis available. The size Small is baggy & not a good fit & appearance for my slim frame, so was happy finally saw the XS back in very limited stock online. All Levis retailers in my local area only stock size S & up, with S only 1 or 2 quantity & always sold out quickly. The dark blue color I ordered is a classic, & have received many compliments on the color & shirt style. The XS is a much better fit & appearance also, although unfortunate a Slim Fit version will not be offered.

The shirt is of great quality, snaps stay secured, however If you normally fit a large id say get an extra large as the fabric has no stretch to it. I found it tight in the shoulders, but going up a size fit perfect.
