Nice but too big

I ordered this beautiful pair of pants, quality is good, material very soft and durable. However, it is way too big compared my regular XXL sweatpants. I am jeans size 40/42 & 30 lenght, this one fits like a 46/36 maybe bit more. Have to return… I’ve ordered L hopefully it fits better.
