Je ne connaissais pas les chinos, après une énorme perte de poids, le changement de garde robe s'imposait et je cherchais un pantalon habillé, mais pratique et confortable. Que ne fut pas surprise, le tissu est d'une douceur, la coupe est parfaite, et le confort est génial.

I was really pleased with the Chino's. First impressions on taking them out of the bag, was the colour, which I thought was aesthetically pleasing and different, so a standout. They felt good quality, tho this came as no surprise with Levi's and I couldn't wait to try them on. I'm a 34 waist, 30 leg, with a bit of a belly and can be a bit awkward in fit, so I was a little worried the taper fit wouldn't suit, especially being 67 years old! I had nothing to worry about, because the fit was as good as my initial thoughts, when it came to putting them on. They are extremely comfortable, fit like a glove, stylish, but are not restrictive in any way. The material is soft to the touch, looks good and feels good to wear. Comfort over style is important to me, but I have got both with these Chino's, so am very happy. I thought the acid test would be after washing them, as to whether there would be any shrinkage, but they came out exactly the same fit. Initially, I washed on 30 degrees, normal spin and medium tumble dry. They came out a bit creased and needed ironing - I don't do ironing! So next time, I lowered the spin speed and used the smart finish, low setting on the tumble drier, as the weather was rainy, so I couldn't hang them out. I hung them on a coat hanger and left them to finish drying. They came out perfect! No need for the dreaded iron, which again is very important to me. After washing a couple of times, they still look brand new. Overall, I am extremely pleased with the Chino's. The dye has depth to it, which adds to the look, that just exudes quality. The pockets are deep too, another small point that is important to me. They look good, feel good, fit perfectly and wash well, so, tick all the boxes. It's like they were made to measure.

My second pair of these Chinos, just off the waist fitting, comfort waist. Great trousers for casual or something a little more formal. Will be buying again.

Le genre de chino qu’on enfile et qu’on oublie… jusqu’à ce qu’on se rende compte qu’on le porte beaucoup plus souvent que prévu ! La coupe est moderne sans être trop ajustée, le confort est vraiment au rendez-vous et il se marie aussi bien avec des baskets qu’avec une tenue un peu plus habillée. Une pièce simple en apparence, mais particulièrement réussie dans les détails. Un vrai bon basique Levi’s, avec ce petit supplément de style qui fait la différence. Je risque fort de lui trouver des petits frères dans d’autres coloris ! 😄
