So glad I purchased several additional pairs of these, because they fit , feel and really look great on me - with a denim or long sleeve polo pullover. These cords also have a nice weight to them, that's not like stiff like cardboard . These also have nice generous size belt loops too, a rare feature with today's cord pants. So glad I bought several colors too !

These are great corduroy jeans. They are about the only regular fit, all cotton, affordable, corduroy jeans left on the market. And, if one can spend the higher price of the other brands, then he gets stylized corduroy jeans in odd (read: feminine) colors. They fit true to size, after getting washed and dried in a dryer, because they shrink some. My only suggestion is about color availability. There are three: khaki, brown, and black. I waiting for dark blue, dark brown, and dark gray.

I have two pairs of 505 corduroy pants. They fit as advertised and look great with everything from a sweatshirt to a casual shirt and jacket. I have corduroy pants from other vendors that cost much more than the 505’s but I find myself reaching for my Levi’s just as often as I do them. I have laundered the pants a couple of times in cold water with gentle tumble drying. So far, they are holding their shape and color well. I would definitely recommend these pants to friends. They are a real bargain.

I am very happy with these and I would recommend them to any man. The fit is bit more snug than I expected, but not too snug to be comfortable. They look great and I have been told that they are flattering, however, I wouldn't wear them to the office on casual day for this reason. It is great to have pants like this to wear on a date or outside of work, you could say that they are unintentionally sexy. I anticipated something loose and geeky, but they are anything but that. I bought a 32/29 and Levis waist size 32 is usually loose on me, but these are snug; I am 165 lbs, 5'7" with an athletic build.

Until recently I had been wearing Levi's 514 Corduroy Jeans and since those are hard to find now, I decided to try 505s. Except for the fact that there is more stretch in the waistband of the 514s, the 505s feel like they are better made with better material and have a great fit and feel. I am very happy with this purchase.

Bought these 505 cords, they fit good but a little low on the waist for me and kind of baggy on the legs so I went with the 502 taper leg cords and I like the tapered leg look but also a tad low on the waist. Oh well. Pants made in Bangladesh. Make Levis in USA!

Sizes seem to be on the small side. I normally wear 36x30 but had to return for 38x30. Shrinkage was minimal.

I am a lifelong Levi's wearer, and I've been wearing their cords since high school. I wore out my other 505 cords, so I ordered another pair of 505 khaki cords--which fit fine and the way they should, and a pair of 505 black cords--which are a bit snug and smaller than usual. I will either have to lose a bit of weight, OR try to stretch them out a bit.

Well made, comfy pants... Wrong color?

These 505 BBQ Brown cords from Levi's were the first corduroy pants that I ever had by Levi's. I am well pleased with the quality, although I wish it was made in USA. One thing I was disappointed by was that the color of the actual garment and the color represented in the photos do not match. The color in the photos is several shades darker, so much so that I thought Levi's shipped me some Khaki colored pants instead... But no, the got the order right. While I found this annoying, it wasn't enough to warrant a return. So now I am enjoying my medium-light brown pants, instead of dark brown pants.

I tried all of the other styles of cords (e.g., 502, 514, etc) and the 505 is the only one that has a comfortable fit for this 6’1” 250 lb guy. I just wish they stocked the 505 like the other styles.
