love the taper fit! , length is on point /awesome , a modern waist fit, it's a bit a lower fit, compared to the O.G. 501 CT & 501 T. I'm not sure if these "501 T " are going R.I.P. dead ? i hope not. cause the 501 slim taper aren't my thing & 502 are too big around the legs and butt. F.Y.I. if the jeans are stretch they will fit bigger around the waist because of the elastic materials. wear 1 size smaller .. or air machine dry once for a shrink.

I ordered Black, 30x32. The fit is ridiculously on point. It is the ST (slim taper) model as I had hoped and I couldn't be happier. The black is a jet back, buttons are a matte charcoal, they're absolutely perfect. If 511 is what you normally buy and want just a smidge more taper from the knee down, buy these right now. The only strange thing I will admit is that the black jeans do need to gas-out. I've washed them twice trying to remove the odor and it's working, however it may just take time more than anything. Quite strange but still great jeans!

Very happy with these. Wish I bought 2 pairs whilst still in the sale. Fit is perfect and after washing twice now - they are looking and feeling better. Will be looking for this model rather than 511 going forward.

I'm for the most part a 511 guy. I have a few 501's like the Shrink-to-Fits and 501 Orginals. These are pretty much a blend of the 2. A fit of the 501 in the waist and seat but with the taper of the 511 at the leg opening. Just perfect for me. I was hesistant to buy them for not knowing how they would fit but glad I did. Very satisfied with the look & fit of these. Love the extra large Levi's Red Tab on the back as well. Keep making them & I'll keep buying !!!

I really like the slimmer cut of these 501s. They still have the traditional square cut of the 501s, but are more fitted. The taper is not pronounced and I think it's just right. For Levis, I generally buy a size larger than my waist (30), and this pair fit comfortably at 2 sizes larger (32). The dark blue finish is beautiful but delicate. Wash them inside out on a gentle cycle and without too many other clothes in the tub.

I'm sort of a denim fanatic, but 'old fashioned' 501's are just out of step in terms of fit and "denim feel." I bought these on a whim ... and I'm completely sold. The denim isn't selvedge, but it has a nice blue patina, the pockets are deep and made from strong fabric. But most importantly, the fit is perfect for me because I'm not a candidate for skinnies, but the tapered leg gives me just the right amount of 'fashion forward' look. I've already ordered a second pair.

Of all the Levi's jeans I must say 501 jeans are my favorite and the 502 but to get the taper of a 502 but have a button fly you couldn't ask for anything better and awesome fits true to size a great accessory to your wardrobe
