My husband is 5'9" 170 pounds and has a hard time with comfortable jeans --the fit is fantastic the style great with just enough stretch so that he can move easily The fabric has a nice feel to it without being stiff like some other jeans this is his second pair he loves them and they stay this way after multiple washings

I have worn Levi’s 100% cotton jeans — and ONLY Levi’s — for over 50 years, and always knew what to expect. However, the last time I bought 505s some six months ago, somehow I ended up with stretch fabric. HORRIBLE! Always gaping open, had to cinch a belt tight, like some drunken cowboy. It seems that Levi’s think stretch pants are the future, because the website makes it a chore to find 100% cotton jeans. NEVER STRETCH PANTS AGAIN.

It feels great to have the right size. In my case, I've lost weight and all my Levis were too loose in the waist. These fit perfectly. Now I don't need a belt with a tucked in tee shirt. I prefer the 505s for their classic style, especially the "sits st the waist" part. The legs, seat and everything else are in "moderate" proportions, not too tight, not to loose. And the zipper, of course. Gotta have a zipper.

The jeans are very comfortable and durable. The only issue I have is there are so many different color blue Stonewash to choose from. You’ve got really know what color you want before ordering. This is not a Macy’s issue. I find this on all different stores.

My brother wears Levi's 505's all the time, but he usually buys them in a cheap store or from Costco. Turns out that Levi's makes their jeans in different qualities for different merchants, and what he's been getting are of lower quality than those sold by stores like Macy's. I just bought him a pair of the stretch version as a birthday gift, and he immediately commented on the quality upgrade. They look great on him and he finds the touch of stretch very comfortable. I don't think these will sag like his cheaper ones do. Yup, he'll be buying his 505's from Macy's from now on. I think I damaged his cheap gene.
