Perfect example of clothing item that grows on you.I was bit apprehensive about buying them but after I tried them on I am rocking them all month. Really cool distressed look and fabulous 150 red tab instead of Levis red tab making this jeans an absolute must have for every 501 fanatic.Thank you Levis team for such an awesome design.Absolutely love them.

I brought these in time for a date to see John Wick CH. 4 and let’s just say the jeans were the best part of the date. The movie wasn’t bad either.

The classic 501 fit that I love, with a very stand-out wash and repair treatment that feels much more natural than a lot of other brands' attempts at this treatment. Be warned, though: the front of these jeans will be very stiff due to a whole second layer on patch denim on the inside. I found it comfortable enough but some people might not like the sensation. But to me it's well-worth the repaired appearance!

I loved 501s so much in the 70s and 80s that I once started a poem about a perfect day with, "Blue skies and my button flies..." Haha!
Anywho, these are 501s. 501s are button fly, as opposed to having zippers.
Soooo happy to find all cotton jeans!
Cotton jeans shrink if you overdry them, and relax the more you wear them. If you like to overdry your clothes, you should buy them a little snug or buy them to fit and stop over drying.
I can't wait to get them, I'll update after a couple weeks of wearing them. Also, cotton (non-stretch) jeans need a break-in period, wear them enough without washing every wear and they will (hopefully) fit like a glove.

Not entirely what I expected

These 501s are not faded, the front of the pants is covered in white stitching. Inside of the legs are big denim patches which is what the stitching is attached to, there is no discomfort with the amount of stitching. The pictures online versus in person can be deceiving. Nonetheless, they are still a very comfortable and cool pair of 501 history.

I bought two pair on different dates. I liked the fact that the denim was thicker/heavier than other styles. However, in both instances, they ripped in the crotch. I have not had this problem with other styles.

Not what I ordered

These are NOT the jeans I ordered. They’re a heavy dark blue. I’m insulted that they thought they could lazily distress a different set of jeans last minute and believe a costumer wouldn’t notice.
