Perfect pair of jeans for me

These are a perfect pair of jeans for me!! The fit is spot on, the quality denim enables me to wear them almost daily without fear of the color fading, or denim wearing out. Taking this into account, they equate to fantastic value for money

Nicely made and fit comfortably

I really like these jeans and they fit great. The color is dark and very well made and attention to stitching make them look very clean and simple. These can be worn daily or as a nice dress denim.

These selvedge jeans are far and away better than other selvedge jeans that I have bought from other manufactures. The fabric is simply stunning. Once tried them on i was sold on their quality. I own 12 pair and looking forward to buying more. Levi is an AWESOME company!

These selvage denim jeans are the finest denim jeans made in the world. The fit is perfect and wearing them is a dream. The rich blue color is wonderful and the feel of the denim is wonderful. The 511 Made In Japan jeans are not stretch denim and I really like that. I have jeans that stretch and I enjoy wearing them too but there is something very special about the denim made in Japan.

I have too many pairs of 511s and if Levi made an olive colour I would buy another pair. I am clearly a disgusting Jean gremlin. These Japanese are the pinnacle of my 511 collection. The denim and stitching and overall construction is different class. Expensive yes, value for money possibly, cool factor and make you feel good off the scale. A special pair in anyone’s jean collection.

511 sizing has changed without warning

The 511 Japan denim has changed both in sizing and quality of the denim. They fit way bigger in the legs and sit way higher on the waist. Be careful when you buy the new sizing on the 511. I have both and the new ones do not fit well anymore. I tried to return them but since they have been washed Levis will not take them back. I washed and dried them hoping they would shrink enough to fit like my original pair that I only hang dry. Levis 511 have always been the perfect fit for me but no longer. Why change the sizing with so many different styles to choose from?

messy sizing

so, i usually order 31/34. (i'm 186/75kgs).
i was at first surprised that no option existed in these size for these specific japan fabric jeans.
so i ordered a 31/32 "to see" indeed, it's too short, i was somehow expecting that, but the caption under the picture " model wearing a 31/32 and being 188" made me believe it could fit.
and in addition, the waist is also way too wide. i don't always wear a belt and clearly here a belt is needed.
i'm not slimmer than before so it's clearly something else. overall, well, i'm excluded from these "higher end products" as a 30/34 would be the way to go.
i'll send them back and be refunded, but it's very frustrating.

I was really looking forward to receiving and wearing these jeans but unfortunately, Levi's canceled my order! No explanation was given, no opportunity for a back order…this is really unlike the reliable, professional service normally characteristic of Levi’s. I was expecting to write a five star rating but I have nothing upon which to base any rating!
