Great quality, but anybody who buys these, looking for the slim 511 cut that they are used to, will be disappointed. They're not even particularly slim. Levi's need a similar quality selvedge jean in an actual slim fit.

I bought this one two weeks ago but I didn’t like that was too much wrinkle after It finished washing.

These are pretty normal selvedge jeans, except for that fact that they have a ridiculously low rise. I've been wearing 511s for years, and the fit is bafflingly different. I live in constant fear of plumbers crack when wearing them, which I think is pretty unusual for someone as skinny as me. That aside, also keep in mind these will take a few weeks to break in. I've been wearing mine every day for two weeks, including long bike commutes, and they're still very stiff.

Construction quality is good, denim feels like 14-15oz weight, and indigo dye looks sharp. It took a month of solid wear for them to begin to break in. Pro tip: learn how to properly care for raw denim and you'll get the most out of these. Unfortunately, the inseam on my 30x32 measures just shy of 31", and the synthetic rear patch feels cheap compared with the rest of the construction details. Rise is also very low, which combined with the short inseam makes for an awkward fit. Would be nice if Levi published full sizing specs. Overall a bit disappointed with the craftsmanship vs price.

The fit is awkward - waist is ok but really tightens below the waist around pockets/crotch. I wear waist 32 - going up a size didn’t help as it made the waist too big/loose.

These are way too tight in the hips and seat. Thought they would stretch after a while and they did - but not enough to make them comfortable. I should have returned, but thought I'd give them a chance. It's too late to return now (I think!). It's a shame as apart from the fit, it's a great looking pair of jeans.

I purchased two pairs of these a year apart. They are both too big in the legs for a 511. I even soaked one pair in hot water and then dried in the dryer (which made my soul die a little) and they're still too big.

Got these selvedge jeans for my boyfriend, who's a true 32 in Levi's, and all other jeans, too. The reviews that these fit small in the hips and seat gave me pause – even though he has no extra weight there – so I chatted with customer service. They assured me these jeans did not run small, but were true to size. That is not the case; these do indeed fit strangely tightly in the butt and hips. Thigh and leg fit is a normal rigid fit (slim, but with room). It's a shame; they'd be great looking otherwise, but given the mixed results other reviewers had with sizing up, I'm just going to return them.

I own several pairs of 511s purchased between 2012 and 2013 and although 511s have never been consistently sized from pair to pair, they've always been slim-fitting. These, however, are significantly wider than any other pair of 511s I've ever tried on. I'm not sure how they got these jeans to look so perfectly slim and tapered in the model photo above, but these look about twice as wide on me - more like straight leg or relaxed fit jeans. But the weird thing is that they're significantly tighter in the crotch and lower rise than all my older 511s. I can barely get my hand into the pocket when these are zipped up and it feels like the jeans are giving me a wedgie - all while the thighs and especially calves are far baggier than I'd like! I'm sad that I have to return these as the fabric is obviously high quality and I was really looking forward to breaking in a pair of raw selvedge jeans, but the fit's nowhere near as advertised in the pic. I wish Levis would make raw and/or selvedge jeans in the 512 cut as that fits the way 511 used to fit.

The inconsistency in sizing is unbelievable. And, there is no stretch. Total waste of money. Returns are cumbersome at best I think I'm done with this brand for good. Unbranded was more than I wanted to pay, but their sizing and quality is way superior.

Am not happy at all with my last purchase , i bought 2 jeans , and both of it had a problem with the size which means , the actual size of the jeans is not the same of what written on it . What i ordered is w33 and L32 But the actual waist size is less than 33 It seems there is default

I bought these jeans for my husband who is extremely thin, his pants always work their way down on him. I bought his usual size, but he couldn’t even button these up! I have to sending them back. Other than running really small they seem like nice jeans.

These jeans run extremely small, probably 2-3 sizes smaller and the stretch factor is almost non-existant.

I ordered these a size bigger since i saw reviews that said they run small. I wear a size 36 but ordered 38 and they were still tight and unflattering giving me a muffin top. Needless to say they went back.

Had to return them because they were too small. First pair would have fit, but was informed after ordering them that they were no longer available. Sad. I really love these Jean's. Please make more.

Been wearing 511 for years. These are wayyy too small in accurate. Charged for return shipping. Dissatisfied

I bought this about two weeks ago and the stitching busy! Contacted customer services but no response. Hate writing bad reviews and especially for Levi's as I love their gear, so I'm hoping someone gets in touch with me to resolve.

I like the color a lot, the shape and everything, but these jeans are way too tight. I ordered a size up from my usual size (33 instead of 32) and these jeans were still way too tight. They fit around the waste, but the area around the crotch is ridiculously tight.

Been wearing 511 for years, several pair in several colors. Never once had a fit issue. Splurged on these, can even button them. Same exact size as what I currently wear. Not happy at all

My son who normally takes 28 inch waist needed to size up to 31 inch waist.

Ordered 33/34. Very small. Reordered 34/34. Absolutely no change, still very small. Every other pair of selvedge jeans I own that fit perfect: 33/34
