I think the weight of the material is less than years ago. I had 2 pair of "527's" that ripped out at the crotch where the denim is too thick to sew (without breaking a needle). Another pair ripped prematurely on the side where the stitching wasn't quite right. But these jeans fit me nicely, so I keep buying them.

Great pant for an “old man"

I am a 70 year old man that still works around the ranch. These pants fit very well, I have no butt, and legs are gone, so I don’t need to look like a broom in a laundry bag which normal sized pants make me look. They are extremely comfortable and the bootcut obviously goes over my boots. I might be old but I still like to look good!

As jeans wearers know, new jeans are increasingly being made of lighter-weight denim but continue to cost more money. These jeans are lightweight denim, but the dark blue 'rigid' is truly dark blue and not faded out, if a neater appearance is preferred. They fit true-to-size. The Kohl's discount programs represent a great opportunity to get jeans at a better value.

Great Jeans! I’ve been looking for jeans to coordinate with my style. For context, I wear Jordan 3s and 4s, which if anyone wears these shoes, you know they are chunky shoes. I wanted shoes that cover those Jordans over the top because I don’t like the look of slim/skinny jeans that show off the whole shoe. These jeans are exactly what I was looking for. Perfect cut and feel. My only con for these jeans is that it’s a little baggy/on the longer side even though my inseam is 30. Other than that, it’s a great pair of jeans.
