The streetwear Prince of Tokyo takes on the OG throwback jean.
In celebration of 501® Day, we teamed up with Japanese graphic design guru VERDY to create the Levi’s® x Wasted Youth 501® ’93 Straight Jean, an ultra-limited app-exclusive collab of only 501 pairs.
The 501® was the first pair of Levi’s® jeans I bought for myself in junior high.

THE 501® FOR EVERYONE
VERDY, renowned for his cult status as one of streetwear’s global leaders, made us all believers with his hardcore-inspired brands Girls Don’t Cry and Wasted Youth. Energized by punk and skate culture—and the rebellion and freedom that come with them—VERDY injects his designs and messaging straight into our collective frontal cortexes. His hand-picked blank canvas? Our 501® ’93 Straight—the OG throwback jean with an everyperson vibe.
When I was younger, I was always skating and going to punk shows, so my clothes would always rip. I’d repair them by adding patches or sewing the rips with black or red stitching.

DON’T BOTHER ME ANYMORE
Levi’s® x Wasted Youth 501® ’93 Straight is black, with a bare-bones attitude. It features stealth tweaks like black stitching on the back pocket with Wasted Youth’s trademark slogan “Don’t Bother Me Anymore,” jagged red stitching accents, Wasted Youth stitching on the left front pocket, a removable enamel “Don’t Bother Me Anymore” pin on the watch pocket, and hardware resembling a D-ring clip (a punk emblem). The collaborative back patch features a custom-cut Wasted Youth bow tie logo. Hey, why are you still reading?
