I love the 501 taper fit - this was my 4th pair. The darkest wash among my prior 501T has artificial fading on the knee area and that was not what I was expecting. The lightest wash is soft and super comfy in a thrift store/faded style but the man made paint and small holes makes it suitable for only the most casual occasions. The medium wash I have is good but seems to be fading unevenly with some vertical lines on the legs. With all the rage over raw denim, I wish Levis would release a dark 501, one that would fade the way Levi's did decades ago. I have even resorted to getting the men's 501's but the fit is lacking for me. That said, the Forever Your Girl 501T will be in solid rotation for me. The fabric is thinner than my other medium wash pair, maybe a drawback for some but a good thing for the hot summer. Also, the button fly adds some bulk and the lighter fabric works well there. I love the all cotton - I refuse to get spandex or polyester. Fit is good. I get the 24 W, used to get 25 or 26 in most other Levi's. I am 5 foot tall and less than 100 pounds, for reference. Could probably squeeze into a 23 but I don't like tight jeans.
