The best of the best. I got it from my sister in 1976 from London. I wore them every day until 1988. The best jeans I've ever worn. I'm sorry that I can't buy them now because they're too expensive. We have very small ones in Serbia pensions for such things. But yesterday in the Levis store in Belgrade, I treated myself to a jubilee 501 on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of your company. I couldn't resist because I can't afford these. Happy anniversary to you.

Die 501 Vintage ist aus richtig festem und anfangs starrem raw denim und ein echtes Unikat. Sitzt am Bund eng, Beine normal und eher straight. Ist mal was anderes, derbes. Jetzt geht’s ans Eintragen - bis jetzt aber schon mal Klasse!

Got the 1890, 1947, 1954, 55 and now these the 1976s. All unique and different, stand out from the crowd with these.

So I got these and they are "Shrink to Fit"; you likely need to size up depending on how you are going to break them in. The fit is not my fav so far; they are wider in the hips than current 501s and the back pockets are really wide, but I guess that is part of the vintage. There's also more leg twist than I would like at this price, so I don't think I'd do this again - I'm a lot happier with the black label selvage 501s and 511s I got. I'm still breaking them in and maybe I come around to liking the more down the road.

These are the fifth pair of Shrink to fit 501’s that I have bought, the first Levi’s Vintage Clothing, and by far the most disappointing. The denim feels very lightweight compared to my other pairs. The fit is not as described as they are in no way tapered or slimmer than any other 501’s I have owned. I had to size up an inch in the waist compared to my usual ones. To be honest I can’t believe I fell for the marketing of these as being some kind of premium product because they are not. I am just glad I got them with 40% off in the sale otherwise I would be fuming!

A 2/3 inch section on the lower outside leg not even stitched as the inner selvedge seam was creased. Unbelievable it wasn’t spotted by QA. Sent back obviously and now awaiting refund.
