About this Style
In 1934, we introduced the first five-pocket jean especially built for women: the 701®. Made famous by the premiere American fashion magazine of its time, the 701® had a distinctly high-waisted, more curved fit.
Today, we reproduced this glossy magazine-approved fit stitch-for-stitch using premium selvedge denim.

Perfect jeans !

I saw a picture along the bottom of the page as I was scrolling through all of the jeans, and the girl in the picture was wearing the ultimate jeans in a field, those were the ONES! A little longer in length, perfect fit in the butt, loose in the right places and fitted in the right places. Made to look like the original Levi’s in the 1950’s, with a faded cream patch with faded red Levi’s label. These jeans are going to wear in perfectly after a lifetime of love, they aren’t distressed yet, but my goal is to wear them ten wears in a row and so far they’ve fit better each wear, and I can see how these will be my go to jeans for years to come. No more cheap jeans for me, Levi’s is where it’s at. I loved them the minute I put them on.

A unique and flattering fit

These jeans are hella expensive but I got them on sale in the light wash and I love them! They have a different fit from any other Levi's I've tried so far. They are on the light weight side which I love for non-stretch denim and are very flattering on the booty. Be warned that they will fit way too tight when you first put them on, like I could barely zip them, but they will stretch with time. Go a size up if you want a more relaxed fit (I am in between 27/28 and went down to 27). They have been worth the pain of breaking in.

I purchased a pair of 701 Levi’s after seeing them on someone on Pinterest. I searched until I found them (unbeknownst to the price). I decided to give them a try & spit fire, I’m so happy that I did. I purchased a size up & they hang just like I like! I also thought the denim was gonna be stiff… I was wrong. They’re actually nice to the touch. They are everything I expected & more! I encourage you to take a chance. What do you have to loose.

Love these jeans. They're loose and comfortable while still being cute and flattering to my shape. I also like that they're the good durable denim and not the stretchy stuff that doesn't last like most of the newer ones are. I do wish there were shorter options for us petite ladies though since these ones don't really cuff well

Got these when they went on sale in black and this color. They’re the best fit for ladies with a small waist and big butt. True be to size and no weird gap in the back like every other pair of jeans! Inseam is hella long for short girls. I’m 5’3” and have to cuff twice.

True Vintage Reproduction!

I love these jeans. They feel like a true 1950s reproduction, and the denim is so thick and rigid that they feel really durable and well-made. They are the perfect vintage stovepipe shape, and look amazing cuffed. I'm 5'7", 135 lb, with a 26.5" waist and although I originally purchased the size 27, I found it to be too saggy in the butt/legs area. The 26s were extremely tight out of the package but I sprayed them with water and wore them around the house which instantly made them more comfortable, and I know with more wear they will continue to fit to my body, so I would recommend sizing down. I love them!

I love these jeans! I also have them in the dark wash. My measurements are waist - 26in, hip- 40in, so it’s hard to find pants that fit off the rack. I got these in a size 27 and they actually fit perfectly with no alterations needed! Great quality and really comfortable. Love the selvedge detail too. Side note, the dark wash I had to get taken in at the waist - not sure if the measurements are different for the different washes or if the sizing is inconsistent. Either way I love them both and i highly recommend!

Great jeans

I bought both in black and dark denim. I usually wear a 25 and they fit perfect around the waist, and a little tight around thighs and hip(I'm a pear-shape). Hopefully it breaks in as I wear it. Overall, my favorite pairs of jeans from Levis and they make your legs look super long!!

Good fit for tall inseam

Out of the handful of styles I bought from Levi's (505s, etc) these fit the best for long legs and a high waist. My natural waist falls very high on my torso so often "highwaisted" jeans don't fit right, as was the case with the other models of Levis I tried. These come up very high and have a 34" inseam which is super great if you are 5'10' and above (I'm 5' 11" for reference). Very well made and sleek looking.

Great for small waist & big butt!

Finally took the plunge and bought these. I’m 5’2, 124lbs with 27” waist and 38” hips. I have a long torso for my height so I love high waisted jeans. These come with a 34” inseam. I hemmed them to 28 inches and also wear them cuffed above my ankles.
The denim is rigid with zero stretch however they do relax with wear and mold to your body. I ordered these in a size 27. They are perfect for my body. My only regret is waiting so long to get them.

I’ve been wanting a pair of selvedge jeans for so long. The fit on these is perfect. I’m 5’8” and I wear a size 28 in the ribcage fit. The length goes down to my feet, but they look great cuffed. I can’t wait to break these in. The quality is awesome and they feel like they will last forever. Levi’s, please make more jeans of this quality for women!

I love these jeans! I’m 5’8 and lean w a tiny waist and a butt and i can never find jeans that fit me, but these are the jeans of my dreams. The wash is amazing and the feel is great, so comfortable.

The jeans could use a little strecth and elastic band otherwise great fit and would do good if the legs and thighs could have space to breathe legs are very long should be made to be cuffed.

Je suis ravie de mon achat. J'aime beaucoup la coupe, la qualité du jean et les finitions. Pour la taille, il est large au niveau des cuisses et des jambes comme sur la photo mais juste ce qu'il faut au niveau de la taille. En 501 cropped (avec 1% élasthanne), je prends du 26 et en 701 j'ai pris du 28. Donc oui il faut bien prendre 2 tailles au dessus voire plus si vous voulez un effet plus large. Il est aussi très long et j'ai dû faire 2 revers pour qu'il arrive aux chevilles (je mesure 1m62 et je pèse 55 kilos)

I’ve had these jeans for nearly 2 years now and they are THAT GOOD that I’m back on the Levi’s website and writing a review. They Took a little time to break in since they are good quality denim, but they now fit my like a glove and are super soft and supple. I absolutely love these jeans, the fit is really flattering and I still get compliments. I have a big but and a small waist, so always have issues buying jeans As they tend to exhibit a baggy waistline, but these fit really well and mould to my curves. I wear mine rolled usually and they look great with boots or trainers. One of my best purchases ever.

bought these for my girlfriend as a surprise. as I'm a denim head and she has no decent jeans. down to every feature these are fantastic I was even abit jealous but I'm not getting into a 26 waist! the LVC brand is class from start to finish.

I've got a couple of pairs of 501s. These are higher waisted, more feminine, but still loose enough on the thighs for my chunky legs! I feel like Marilyn Monroe when I wear them. The denim is softer than the unwashed raw denim, so more comfortable. The selvedge says pink, but it looks like the normal red selvedge to me, which is good. These are far and away my favourite jeans. Vintage styling but still totally relevant!

La coupe est vraiment originale, tout à fait dans l'esprit vintage. La longueur est idéale (possibilité de retrousser le bas du jean en fonction du style que l'on veut adopter). Personnellement, j'ai dû prendre une taille au-dessus de ma taille habituelle car il est resserré à la taille. Mais sinon, parfait !

I ummmed and arrrghed about spending so much on jeans that I couldn’t try on first, but so happy I took the chance. These jeans are very flattering and good to see a sturdy jean that aren’t stretch. So hard to avoid these days. I have a narrow waist, smaller bum but muscular thighs, so skinny/stretch jeans look terrible on me. I wish that Levi’s would take the risk to develop more styles similar to this one. Would be great to see these rare styles arrive in Australia too, instead of having to spend high international postage rates.
