Wider belt, good quality & colour

Was looking for a wider belt to hold up a lower cut jean, and in a lighter colour than my existing belts. The belt is great quality and a nice colour, really eye catching especially with darker jeans. As it’s a wider belt it seems to accentuate the dreaded gap at the back of the waist a bit, but that’s not really the belt’s fault. Will be great paired with the right waist/cut jeans!

I wanted to give this belt 5 stars, but it fell short. The leather seemed a bit thinner than other Levis belts, and the buckle flimsy. I expected it to be a little more substantial, although it was genuine leather.

Like the belt, I’m usually a smaller size 10 and went with 80cm, wish I’d gone larger as there’s no loop on the belt to hook the end of the belt in, so if wearing with suit pants it needs to be long enough to reach the trouser loop.

It's nice enough since it was on sale, but the leather is thinner than I had anticipated and feels sort of flimsy. I'm kind of settling, but not worth the hassle of making the return.

Als Jeansgürtel eher ungeeignet

Der Gürtel ist gefertigt aus sehr weichem Leder, wie ich es eher für eine Handtasche, nicht aber für einen robusten Jeansgürtel erwartet hätte. Ich befürchte daher, dass im Bereich der Gürtelschlaufen schnell Einkerbungen bzw. Knicke entstehen werden. Auch "kippt" die Gürtelschnalle auf der dem Dorn gegenüberliegenden Seite einseitig nach vorne, so dass sich der Gürtel unter Shirts oder Pullovern unschön abzeichnet.
