This Jacket looks beautiful and surpassed my expectations. I purchased this Levi’s Fresh Vintage Fit Trucker Jacket size small in the brown-rinse color morph. Its well made with sturdy weighted denim in Levis’ classic type 3 trucker jacket design. It fits my shoulder and torso well with a more relaxed/looser fit in the arms ( though it isn’t very noticeable in my opinion when compared to the modern type 3 trucker jacket style) allowing for increased mobility. I love the fact that it is dyed with vegetable dyes which is not only beneficial for the environment, but also creates a natural looking brown that allows me to blend into the natural environment ( crucial as a zoologist, Botanist and Geologist). It comes with a light brown Levi’s faux leather patch imprinted with the classic two horse logo in dark brown behind the nape of the neck. The classic rivet buttons have a beautifully petinaed dark copper color whilst the left breast pocket has an interesting Levi’s tab not traditionally found on other Levi’s products i have procured in the past. Instead of the classic red tab with the word Levi’s or the trademark R in white ( as is seen in the photo); this line of jackets have instead a black tab with a small white R and a cute vegetable or fruit logo ( choice of a: Mushroom, Lemon, Cherry, Pea or Turnip). I found out that the tags are meant to represent the type of vegetables or fruits that compose the dye used in the jacket. The jacket comes with a hanger loop ( above the faux leather patch) for easy drying and storage. It has an adjustable button waist-band ( for a tighter or more relaxed fit) and has six pockets in total; two buttoned breast pockets, two side pockets and two inner-jacket pockets making it incredibly utilitarian for carrying everyday items to natural specimens. The Jacket feels sturdy and robust plus it provides adequate protection from light wind, sun and drizzles. It looks good in an Urban or natural setting. Whilst there was a hiccup with receiving the jacket online (disclaimer: NOT Levis’ Australia’s fault), the Levis’ Australia customer-care team went a long way in making me feel like a cherished customer. I am beyond stoked and I guess that waiting for it has only made receiving it that much more incredible.
