A little extra money but worth it. Fit and quality is a touch above the high-end leather patch 501s (which are great too). If you cuff them, the selvedge finishing is a nice detail. Also: I got mine shortened at the Levis store and the have the option to keep the original hem. Once again, cost a little extra but worth it! I'll be wearing these a very long time.

I recently bought this jeans , love it , love the original fade, however would be happy if the 501 can also come with a zip liner . Once you get hooked on to levis , there is no turning back, no other jean can replace a levis.

These are some well built jeans and my first foray into selvedge jeans. The build quality and material are excellent; I forsee these being jeans getting some good use over the years. The denim is much denser than other Levi's lines and the fit is spot on. I would note that these are not fashion sized and a true to measurements.
