It is about time that designers caught up with what my Grandma has been doing for decades!!! Love the cinch buttons on the shorts. Hips but a smaller waist? No problem with these cute shorts.

I AM SO PLEASED! I went to the mall with one goal in mind - find new denim shorts. I’m a bit curvy, so you know finding true denim with no stretch can be tough. My go-to pair has been a pair of Men’s vintage Rider jeans I had cut into shorts. They’re so comfortable, but definitely not *the look* I’m always going for. A few years ago I had purchased Levi’s high and loose shorts (size 28) and they’re still great but a teeny bit too short for everyday! My goal was to find something with a finished hem, a little extra length, and something that WON’T cut into my thighs when I sit down. For reference; I’m 5’5, ~145lbs, long torso/shorter legs, thicker thighs, tipping into my 40s. I buy pants between a 6-8, or 28-29 depending on the style and material. THESE SHORTS TICKED EVERY BOX! I bought a 29 in black and a 30 in medium wash (yes! They were out of 29 in medium so I tried on the 30s) BOTH FIT PERFECTLY! On the 30s I was able to snap back the waist a notch for a cool fitted but still loose look. Even on the 29s, I snapped one side for a more snug waist (but still comfortable! I can still sit easily!). Both look so cute worn long and (!) still great with a cuff thrown in the hemline for something a little shorter. It’s rigid denim but leaves space for our bellies and organs to breathe. The thigh cut and ride up is minimal (on me) when sitting. I think if you have slender legs and hips, you might feel like these have a triangle or bell shape. But if you have some curves, carry strength and weight on your lower half, TRY THESE. The waist measurement on the two sizes is not all that different (half an inch?) laid flat when the 30s are snapped. I’m thrilled to have two pairs of shorts that I can adjust depending on my ever-in-flux body. Get them on sale and keep them as long as you can! It’s a classic look, always in style. If you’re in flux, try two sizes! Cheers to summer!

I’m usually a size 26 but sized down to a 25 when reading that they may be baggy and I don’t regret it. I’ve worn these a few times already. They are the perfect length and not too baggy. Shipping was quick as well.
