Love these shorts. They have a very comfortable fit and the cinched waist helps prevent that back gap. Perfect for us with smaller waist but bigger bottoms. Need more !

Ok these shorts are amazing. The length is perfect and the cinches are AMAZING. I always find my high waisted denim stretches out a lot but the cinches keep them fitting all day. I can't say enough good things about them!

I 100% agree with the other reviews. As a thick thigh, small waist girl, I've been looking for this type of denim short for a long time. Finally ones that don't have waist gap and don't cut into my thighs when I sit down! Since they are little longer than a typical denim short and looser in the thigh, you could even roll the hem to a preferred length. I really hope they keep making these because they are *chef's kiss*. I wear a 28 in the Ribcage jeans and I was able to get away with a 27 in these.

I want to scream these shorts are so perfect. Literally EXACTLY what I’ve been looking for for years. The “bagginess” on the thighs is absolutely perfect - I hate when shorts are skin tight on the thighs. Then, when you do find a pair of shorts with thighs big enough, the waist is way too big. But these… the cinch feature??? Are we kidding??? Why doesn’t every pair of shorts in the world have this? Absolutely perfect. Love, love, love. Wish I could give these shorts 100 stars. For years, I have faced challenges in finding shorts that fit my waist without leaving a gap, while also being comfortable on my thighs and buttocks. These shorts are truly exceptional! Standing at 5’6” and weighing 155 pounds with an athletic build, they fit me perfectly. They are easy to slip over my legs and buttocks, and once the buttons are snapped, the gap is completely gone. I highly recommend them to anyone experiencing similar difficulties.

No more waist gap!

Love these shorts, they are the perfect fit and length. The cinch on the waist is the reason I bought them, my waist is too small in comparison with hips/butt to not always have a significant waist gap. Bought two pairs and very happy with both. Hoping Levi’s will consider adding this cinch waist to their long jeans (other than the baggy) as I would love to buy some straight leg jeans with this waist!

My dream shorts.

I almost cried when I tried these on. I have thick thighs, and never in my life have I found shorts that actually have room and didn't hug and squeeze the crap out of them! These shorts are loose around the thigh, long enough, and have a high waist with a button cinch if you need to adjust the waist. I will be getting one in every color and never letting them go.

I love these! I always have trouble with jeans gapping around my waist but the buttons on the side of these really make a difference! They’re also very roomy around the thighs. I really appreciate that the zip just lays flat too, no puffing out. Please release these in a white version!

Loveeee these shorts. Good length, the cinch is just great and i'm not sure why all pants dont have this. They are a little stiffer than I wouldve liked - i got the same size of cinch full length baggy jeans and those are way softer, but overall great.

Fit is great, cut is perfect, love the adjustable back snaps! Only took a star off because they are very stinky, washed once and they still smell, and made everything I washed them with smell as well. Hopefully the chemical odor resolves with a few more washes!

Not for curvy gals! Good quality shorts and liked the button on the waist as someone with big hips and a smaller waist this would come in very handy. The shorts however had zero give in the backside and was so tight completely flattening the backside. In my opinion ran very small but might work better for less a less curvy body type.

These Levi’s Cinch Mid-Thigh Shorts are Ok.
The high-rise actually eliminates that annoying waist gap, which is a plus—just wished it hugged the body more, giving more a flattering look while ensuitating a woman's curves.
But i like that they’re comfortable for everyday wear, from casual errands to weekend outings. The vintage-inspired cut adds a timeless vibe, and the denim feels sturdy but comfortable.

Wanted them to fit!

I tried these in two sizes, 25 & 26. The 25 was just barely too small, and the 26 was just barely too big. The 26 could have worked with the cinch but then it was larger around my legs. I was bummed these didn’t fit, but I just can’t get any luck with a perfect sizing with Levi’s

Different sizing to the jeans version

I had really high hopes for these as I live in the jeans but the sizing of these is way off. They were skin tight around my thighs and bum and I only just managed to do them up. I bought the same size as my jeans but I’d have to go up at least one but probably two sizes to get the fit right around my thighs but then the waist would be huge.
