For a shortie, (5'1"), these "ankle" jeans hit perfectly at the foot. I hadn't read that the closure was buttons, but the jeans close beautifully with no gaps. And "ribcage" was not as alarming as it sound - the jeans nicely cover the bulging belly.

The ribcage cut is one of my favorite Levi's fits of all time - I pretty much exclusively wear their "Ribcage" and "Wedgie" options. This particular pair flatters my butt, and fits slimly through the hip and thigh, but isn't suffocating. Perfect straight leg cut that can be worn as is or cuffed.
