About this Style
  • The Levi's® Vintage Clothing 1953 Type II Jacket is a modified version of our milestone 1936 Type I Jacket, and became the unofficial uniform of the working man
  • It retained the slightly boxy silhouette and pleated front, but got a second chest pocket and swapped the cinched back for the side adjusters
  • Reproduction of 1950s Levi's® Shrink-to-fit red selvedge denim made by Japan's Kaihara Mill

Took a couple of exchanges to get perfect fit but large is ideal. The Selvedge denim is the star here in addition to the Vintage styling. Stand out from the field of truckers out there. It’s worth it for a go to heirloom. 12oz denim gives it weight and warmth with a tee or layered.

This jacket is great. I have it in the rigid version. Fit is the same and great .I usually wear XL which I ordered.

I have been looking for a jacket for some time to match my 1955 Levi 501 jeans and this is a very good match and is a very comfortable jacket I have only given it 4 stars because l had a lot of trouble getting the right size I had to order four different sizes to get a good fit.
