Our 512™ Slim Taper sits at the sweet spot between a skinny and a regular taper. These jeans are part of our most versatile family of fits and are a go-to for every occasion. I recently picked up a pair of Levi’s 512 Slim Taper jeans in grey, and they’ve quickly become a favourite in my wardrobe. These jeans are excellent, they have just the right amount of stretch, making them very comfortable for wearing throughout a long day without feeling restricted. These will be my 5th different 512 pair! One thing I will note is the waist sizing on the 512s can be a bit inconsistent. If you usually wear W28, I recommend trying both the 28 and 29, and verifying the fit before committing. Sometimes the 28 feels like a 29, and the 29 can fit more like a 30 or even 31. Overall, the quality and style are spot on, and the comfortable stretch makes them a solid choice for everyday wear. Just be prepared to double-check the sizing before purchase!

Better fit for the slighter build

A better, neater and more elegant fit than other styles. This jean (512) is perfect for men who are smaller in stature and are leaner in the leg. Gives a more proportioned look than larger fits which may make you appear shorter than you actually are. Also, because the rise is lower they will sit on the hips rather than over the stomach. This helps if you have a bit of tummy weight as they won’t slide down and give that saggy butt look! So, perfect for smaller, slighter built men who want to look in proportion!
