ordered a pair of 505s for my husband. The size on the label was as I ordered, 32x32. But these jeans were enormous!! They were both huge in the waist and a mile too long. i dont know what size they actually were, but they were NOT 32x32. i will not order online again if the reliability of the jeans labeling cannot be guaranteed. it's too much trouble and expense.

One of the few constants in my life have been my 505s. Ive been wearing them for 25 years. I recently lost a bit of weight and went back to my beloved 32x32...only to be perplexed to find they were falling off my butt. There are very few American originals anymore and to mess with the cut of 505s is sacrilege. I feel like some teen punk wearing these new 505s. Hopefully all this feedback will get you guys to reverse course.

I purchased 3 pairs thinking they were 'Regular' fit, which Levis apparently discontinued and replaced with 'straight' fit. They are too low in the waist and too tight in the crotch. They only have 5 belt loops instead of 7. I loved the old 505 regular fit because they were 501s with zippers instead of buttons. Please bring them back. I've worn Levis for 50 years, but now I'm looking at other brands for the first time in my life.

the size that i get is 3 size bigger then what i order i brings this jeans from usa to israel and when i get them i was very happy from 4 of 5 pair that i order. the last pair was to big/

I don't like the new ' straight' fit 505s. I think it's a step backward from the 'regular' fit jeans they replaced. The lower waist is uncomfortable. I'm forever pulling them up. Maybe if they had 7 belt loops it wouldn't feel so unnatural. Also, they're not quite as rugged feeling as the regular fit. They're basically a 501 with a zipper. The problem now is Levi's doesn't have a normal, fits at the waist alternative in a straight leg. They should have kept the regular fit, and called the new straight fit 501Z (for zipper). You also end up paying more money for less jean. I think this new design is going to result in a lot of lost revenue from guys who just want a durable, comfortable pair of jeans for work and play.

I bought these jeans for my husband. When I took them out, the fabric was like cardboard! I thought if I washed them they might soften but they came out discolored and creased all over. Thankfully, Levi's allowed me to return them for a full refund.

I bought these for my son. He has several pairs of 514's that are size W30 x L32. He needed more length, so I ordered the 505's in W31 x L34. I would have preferred 514's, but I could only find the smaller waist/longer length combination in the 505's. Anyway, when they arrived, I had him try them on, and they were 8 inches too large in the waist (labeled W31). I really think the jeans must have been mislabeled. We had a good laugh over how enormous they were on my poor little guy, but I was disappointed to have to return them (and it cost me a lot of money from my own pocket when the error was not mine). It would be nice if there were more size options for long-legged, very lean teen boys!

Couldn't find rigid in store, so ordered online. Ordered two rigid, and one of the dark stone-wash. All three pairs were marked as the same style and size. However, *both* the Rigid fit like they were at least a size too small. The stone-wash fit like a charm. I understand that there is some slight variation in sizing, due to the nature of how clothing is made.. but this was more like 2" too small.. not 1/2".. It could just be bad luck on my part. I'll suggest you check the sizing in store, before ordering online, if possible.
