I'm not sure why stretch 501's are so rare these days, so I'm forced to go with these 100% cotton ones lately. I don't prefer them, but can live with them. This pair is a little worn on the pocket edges and no place else, which makes no sense. Otherwise, they're a great pair.

I know these aren't labeled shrink to fit and I'm actually afraid to wash and dry them bc of how tight they already are. (I do have a pair of shrink to fit and those are even smaller.) Most 501's to me are about one size smaller than all other styles. I still buy my usual size anyway. I like a tighter fit, but some 501's really push it like this one, but after two wears they're broken in to the point of not not being too tight (whew!).

I ordered some 501's online for the first time as I didn't have time to go shopping. The Levi's website was easy to navigate and had the size instock so I ordered them. The payment was quick and easy to use and was told delivery would be 2 to 3 days. I was suprised when they turned up the next day even though I didn't pay extra for express delivery. They fitted prefectly and even though I won't need to return them I was suprised to find I could take them into a Levi's store. Over all a great service which I will use again.

I have always worn 501 jeans due to the fit and button fly. With time I have found that I prefer the no stretch, or 100% cotton, over the other options. In my experience the no stretch remain softer with time and are more comfortable once broken in. The monster truck green color is unique and pairs well with casual clothing.
