This is one of the most comfortable jeans my husband ever tried. The fabric is comfortable for a long wear. The fit, design, sizing and style are simply perfect. Even the shade and wash of the color I selected, Bounty Wash is very classy. Definitely recommend.

The "Hudson" Selvedge 501s are indeed shrink-to-fit/STF/rigid/raw/unsanforized. That makes these the best way to get raw selvedge jeans without having to pay for LVC.
Sizing is a bit tricky. I ordered a pair of 32x34, and the waist measures 17 inches across (or 34 inches around). After soak/wash, these will shrink to 32 inches around. The waist measures bigger than for a non-premium pair of STFs. The pre-wash waist measurement for a pair of 33x32's was 17 inches across. In other words, for a similar fit to a pair of STFs, get one size smaller than what you'd get in standard STFs.

There are several pairs of 501s in the wardrobe and these ones became my favourite the moment I first tried them on. I was looking for a light-mid blue faded selvedge pair for summer casual and semi-casual looks, but didn’t have the budget for a heritage pair. Classic cut, true to size, an authentic fade that doesn’t try too hard on the whiskers and just enough extra length to show those selvedge turn-ups. They look like your favourite old pair of jeans from day one. What’s not to like!

I love this pair very much! I have Big John RARE and A.P.C. Selvage jeans. They are quality and having their own tradition. However it’s really too hot to wear them during summer. This pair of Button Your Fly 501 Selvedge jeans although not Made in Japan Denim, but the denim oz is incredibly suitable for the season. Thin is the beauty of owning this pair and they are having 501 tradition too. I am loving it.

Rapporto qualità prezzo incredibile. Non solo cimosato ma il denim è più “croccante” di quello delle versioni normali di 501. Lavaggio e patina veramente belle, più di quanto appaia in foto. Vestibilità piuttosto asciutta sulla coscia (più di quanto pensassi, soprattutto se si acquista contemporaneamente la lunghezza giusta, così le proporzioni sono coerenti) e vita media. Comunque un grande classico, sempre di gran classe e ottima alternativa ai cimosati giapponesi che ormai ti costringono ad aprire un mutuo.
