Absolutely love these jeans. The cut is trim and neat without being too snug or tight. The selvedge is the denim fabric that those of us of a certain age grew up with. The 511 Slim Fit Selvedge Jean is a modern classic.

Great pair of raw denim. Has a beautiful deep, somewhat shiny, indigo blue of raw denim you'd expect. Pretty stiff when you first put them on but they soften quickly, as in they'll soften a bit by Day 1, and by Day 14 they will be noticeably softer. Seeing nice honeycombs on back of knees and whiskers in upper thigh. Hoping these fade over the next year or two. Cons: I bought my actual size and they fit like a glove in the waist when I bought them. But after 2-3 weeks they have stretched a bit making me think I should have gone one size down and dealt with a bit of uncomfort for a few days. I also bought a longer inseam since that's all they had and even with cuffing (which is the fun part of selvedge) it still stacks enough to not have as sleek of a look as my other 511 jeans. Will fix this with a hem. Also I'm not sure, but I feel like the leg opening is wider than my other 511 even if by a bit, so it doesn't seem as slim fit. Will probably taper. Not a big deal as you can always hem and taper jeans, but it would have been nice to just wear them without any tailoring.

These are my favorite pair of 511's so far. Stretched out perfectly to my size after a few times of wearing them.

Great fit & finish. Superb hand feel, almost silky interior. Substantial weight. Contrast between warp and weft has an almost iridescent quality.

Just stop making the other trash. All Levi's should be this good

Eine neue Chino musste her. Und da ich in der näheren Vergangenheit gute Erfahrungen mit Levi’s® Jeans gemacht hatte, warmes für mich naheliegend auch hier bezüglich einer chino zu schauen. Verarbeitung, Farbe ist die gewohnte Levi’s® Qualität. Einzig der Stoff ist für meinen Geschmack etwas zu dünn und zu steif. Daher vergebe ich gute 4 Punkte.

I have been buying 511’s and 513’s for years so obviously I like them .My one issue though is the inconsistency of the fit within the same style and size. Many times I have to return because they do not fit like the others that’ll in the same shipment.

I've bought it month ago,it fit well> however it is shorter then my previous jeans of the same style and size for about 2 inches. Despite this they fit well.

Je suis très grand (1,94m) et ne trouve pas de jean qui doit assez long et ayant une coupe ajustée! Cette coupe est tout juste bien car ni trop large ni trop prêt du corps elle s’adapte au style habillé comme au style décontracté! La couleur est top! Et lz matière vraiment confortable! J’ai retiré une étoile car j’avais déjà effectué un achat sur ce produit en beige et en gris mais je trouve le tissus un peu fragile à mon goût... et surtout la longueur 36 serait la bienvenue en magasin (comme celui des champs...) et sur d’autres produits de la coupe 511 d’ailleurs!!! la population grandit et malheureusement Les longueurs 36 sont rare...

These fit my fiancé really well! The only downside is that the rivets in the back pockets dig in when he sits. Overall pretty great jeans.

I bought this almost a month ago and as always levi's products (especially jeans) are the best. Only downside was the shipping it took a bit long past the approximate shipping date when i least expected it. Other than that, no other problems. Keep making high quality and wonderful clothing

I am just starting the process to return a few pair of these. Ordered 32x34 for my son. After a few washings, they are now 32x29!! I will come back and review The Process of Returning a Warranty Claim to let you know how customer service did to fix this issue. These jeans are my sons favorite!! I sure hope they send 32x36 to adjust for the length that will shrink.

I bought these in he same size that I always buy this model of jeans and they were way small. I called for advice on a replacement size and went with a 32 instead of a 30.

These jeans are a great entry level pair for those new to raw and selvedge denim. The fabric is heavier and stiffer than normal jeans, but I don't believe they are a true raw denim (from what the product description and tags say). The fit is pretty true to size, but be advised that because of the rigidity of the denim they do not have a lot of give in the thighs that other pairs of 511's have had in my experience. Still, after a couple weeks of break-in, I'm very satisfied and look forward to wearing them for a long time.

I wish Levi’s would make non stretch denim 510’s and 511’s. They’re good but need to be dried to frequently.

I have a VERY fit waist and body and love the look of these jeans and how they fit everywhere else but the waist is way tight for a 32. Levi’s store clerk had me try on another pair of 511’s to show him and they fit perfectly but then when I tried these on he was like WOW those are tight. Was way sad I had to return them. Loved them otherwise.

Great quality, color, heavy zip fly and fell but.......... Fit really too tight on the bottom, would recommend a size up, if your not paper thin. Was really upset out to see the class red label on the right pocket NOT SAY "LEVIS" but have that baloney plain red tag with the "R" reserved copy right branding, I bought these to get that selvedge 50's Levis feel which they are very similar to LVC's models quality for 1/3 the price, but I am really angered at the red branding not fully saying "Levi's" - Isn't that why we still buy the brand today........?

Happy with product. Extra info required on site. Thought I was buying denim but got blue canvas. Doesn’t seem to say on Individual items.

Ordered two pair. One was great, fits nicely and look great. Other pair had poor quality control... left front pocket was sewn into outseam stitching, so pocket was not very usable and clumped under the jeans. Had to send them back. Now I just have the one pair. The pair I sent back was also slight shorter in inseam despite being exact same size as other pair.

Slightly baggier around the waist than other 32s from Levis; would’ve sent them back but needed to wear them. Not overly pleased with the fit (wish they had them in stock in my local store but they didn’t).

I really like these jeans. But, I didn’t expect the right leg on both jeans to be twisted. The seem in both pair of jeans twists to the middle of the leg. Not good levi.

Produit de très bonne qualité (toile, fournitures et finitions) mais ce n'est pas la coupe 511 à laquelle je suis habitué (Biology et Rock Cod). C'est plus un tapered qu'un slim. Article retourné et remboursé immédiatement par Levi's sans aucun problème. Côté note c'est entre un 5/5 pour le jean en lui-même et un 0/5 pour la déception personnelle qu'il ne m'aille pas ;-)

Great fabric but the cut around the seat is so tight. I bought this online without trying instore. After a while it did lose up but this is definitely not the jean to buy if you have athletic thighs. I will never be able to put anything into the pockets. I would have returned them but i gave them too much of a chance.

Everything was perfect: denim, cut, fit... except length. I bought 30 X 30, as my usual measurement but these are definitely too short: they aren't 30 but 29! (I double checked), so I have to use them only with boots without a pinroll, what is a shame with "selvedge" jeans... Unfortunately this has become an usual practice with Levi's jeans: another 30 X 30 pair that I bought recently was really 30 X 32, but in this case I could fix it, when they are short, there is nothing I can do...
