Having been a wearer of 501's for many years, it was only at the insistence of my wife that I reluctantly tried on a pair of 511's. Initially the narrower fit felt a bit clingy and the profile certainly looked different. However, tempted by a very discounted price I bought them and soon found that they were very good indeed. A lighter cloth with stretch made them a very comfortable wear. Those jeans were light blue stone washed and sadly they went the way of all jeans through extensive wear last month. My new 511's are of the virgin unwashed deep blue variety, but with the same stretch quality, I bought two pairs and that I think demonstrates my new found fondness for this style. Not so robust as my 501's that still feature strongly in my wardrobe, but really comfortable, well cut and great value.

This 511 style is a flattering fit for my husband, that has been a long time coming. He has skinny legs and until this fit, has been frustrated with finding the right style to give a fitted look, vs. oversized, exaggerated jeans. There will be a few more jeans like this added to his closet!
