That’s why we launched the Levi’s® Customization Studio, leveraging Project F.L.X. technology that allows denim lovers to create their jean finish from start to finish. For the first reveal, we invited a few friends of the brand, including Lily Aldridge, Victor Cruz, Outerknown’s John Moore, and Karla Welch, to our studio in Downtown Los Angeles to create their own one-of-a-kind pieces.
Project F.L.X. (future-led execution), uses the latest advances in laser-powered technology to digitize the design and development of denim finishing. This laser-based technology helps the Levi’s® brand further that revolution by achieving efficiency and sustainability without sacrificing Levi’s® standards of quality and craftsmanship.
In the 1970’s, we encouraged DIY-creativity through open customization competitions like “Denim Art” — a contest that pulled thousands of submissions and organized 25 works of art into a nationally-touring exhibition.
Decades later, our custom experience was elevated with the Levi’s® Tailor Shop and our bespoke jeans offering, Levi’s® Lot No. 1. Now, with Project F.L.X, we’re empowering our fans with a new way to put their own spin on their favorite Levi’s®.
Through October 15th, notable friends of the brand will create limited edition pieces at the studio for a giveaway on the Levi’s® Instagram platform. Read on to see custom styles already created by a few of our giveaway partners!
