Cute and convenient but not the most comfy

I'm mostly happy with these shorts. They look cute, they have front pockets that can fit a phone, and the length is just long enough that bending over still covers everything I want covered. I sized slightly down so that the waistband would fit better and for me that made the fit while standing/walking perfect.
My only issue is that there is basically no stretch to the material. Sizing down may have been good for standing, but not for sitting. For short times it isn't bad, but sitting a while causes the stiff material to press really badly into some areas. However, this may improve with a few washes.

Nice quality shorts. They are confortable. Im wearing a size 28, but a 26 would have been a better fit for me. I just took a star off because the front cuts look a little different from the online fotos.

Thick thighs small waist problems

I loved these when I tried, but once I brought them home I realized how much they ride up while walking. I typically wear a 29, and I bought a 30 in these ribcage shorts. I ended up returning. I was going to size up, but the waist in the 31 just had too much room for me. I am going to try to 501 curves. But if they fit, they seem very wearable and have soft fabric. I wanted to love but they just aren't a good fit

The quality and fabric as you can guess is always amazing for Levi’s ! The overall look and design is great and I love that the shorts aren’t too tight on the thigh ! Very comfortable and perfect for summer to wear is either casually or even to go out for dinners ! Perfect for summer wear ! Material is not ok thick or rough .. it’s the perfect jeans material that I love .. But these do not have any stretch to it at all !
My only complaint is that I felt the sizing is small in the waist ! I have few other pieces of Levi’s and almost same hight waist fit but the sizing for these were completely off ! I recommend sizing up !!

This is the perfect summer short! They’re super high rise but also have good coverage on the bottom so nothing shows. There’s no stretch in the material and I found it’s a tad small, so I recommend sizing up a size. It’s also relaxed through the bottom and gives a slight flare out look at the end, super cute!

Perfect shorts, but a little too destroyed looking

The fit, the length, the wash, the fact that they're non stretch, all perfect. Overall, very flattering. However, I'm knocking off a star for the weird jagged cut outs in the hem. It looks okay ish on the models, but in person it just looks sloppy.
I'd much prefer a straight symmetrical cut like the black wash has. Unfortunately, all of the lighter washes have these strange cutouts. As another reviewer mentioned, it's just too much. I could just cut it myself to even it out, but 1. I shouldn't have to for a $70 pair of shorts, and 2. I'm tall, so they'd end up being too short on me. Ugh.
I really don't want to return because they're perfect otherwise, but this is seriously a huge detractor. Even my bf agreed that part looks dumb.
I'd love to see more washes available with a straighter hem and the destroyed look dialed back.

These shorts were kind of interesting at first because I’m usually a size 8, but they felt really tight. After wearing them for a little bit, they actually seem to loosen up.
So now they actually fit, but they are definitely see-through so be aware of that! Overall, pretty good definitely fits to its rib cage name because it literally goes up that high. Cute though very stylish.

Bagger on the sides than expected. The piling isn't the most flattering either, it honestly looks like they took a pair of wide leg jeans and cut them into shorts. Very comfortable though!

Cute but fit is weird

First, don't go by the size chart-- I did that and the first order was like 3 sizes too big. Sized down and the fit is still odd though. These are ribcage shorts described as "relaxed through the hip"....buddy my hips barely fit in there while my waist band is loose enough for me to fit two nintendo switches in the case in the front of my shorts. Or when I sit down, there is a gaping in the back you could also hide a few nintendos in. In what world is our waist supposed to be bigger and our hips smaller?? Why can no one design shorts to properly fit women's bodies? I know I'm not the only person with this issue, it is widespread. Smaller waist, wider hips...it can't be that hard! Even the cinching jeans they make are stretchy and barely cinch up anymore than they are to begin with, fit loose in the waist and tight in the hip. And if all those parts miraculously fit, the rise cuts you in half when you sit down. 😡 Clothes shopping in exhausting.

great style! size up!

The length and style of these are great! The fit runs very small. For reference, I have several jeans and shorts from levis of various styles all size 27 or 28. They fit perfect. None are tight at all. I ordered these in a 28 (2 colors) and I could barely zip them up. In order to get the fit of the model, I would need to size up 2 sizes.
