I have an older version of these jeans in black. When I saw them on sale, I couldn't pass it up. They are a great fit for a long waisted person like myself. They accomodate my menopausal middle as well. There is plenty of stretch when one moves. I am eager for cooler weather to be able to wear them.

It’s difficult to find jeans that are not high-rise, since that is the trend right now. These jeans are mid-rise & fit my waist perfectly. (I’m short waisted) and reach my ankle bone. I dislike short jeans and pants! They washed up beautifully and I’ll probably buy one or two more pairs.

Great fit but avoid stripe on the side

I’ve lost 40 lbs in the last 5 1/2 months so I needed new jeans. I really like the fit and the higher waist. I read reviews first. Some reviewers were disgruntled because the jean they bought (probably on-line) had lines on the side of the leg. The line or stripe is a darker shade of denim. When you look at these on-line it doesn’t show the stripe. I bought this pair in the store and I noticed some of this exact same model of jean had those ugly stripes all the way up the outside leg on both sides and some did not. So of course I bought a pair without those stripes. If a person orders these jeans online, they take the chance of being sent a pair with the stripes. I was so glad I was at the store trying the jeans on in person and I was so glad that I read the reviews first for the heads up. This jean has a great fit. I don’t know why all of them weren’t made exactly the same. Hope this helps you.
