I definitely have a ’70s influence and a Western influence. I think it’s from my upbringing in Vegas. Vegas is a little trashy.
Trucker Jackets are my staple. This brown corduroy Trucker is from the ’70s. Someone hand-painted that “Rodeo” thing on the back. I found it on an online auction. I’m an online auction addict for finding Levi’s® pieces. Almost all my Truckers are vintage, and I’ve gotten almost everything online.
I really like the subtle acid effect on this piece, and the fact that it has a zipper instead of buttons. I like stuff like that: a very classic piece like a Trucker, but with subtle details that give it a twist.
My closet’s insane. I have like 50 Truckers. The reason I have so many is that people customize them, and they’re all different. But I do have a favorite. It’s not pictured, but it’s another ’70s Trucker that says “Lone Wolf” on the back, in chain-stitched embroidery on the back. I found it at a vintage store — that was my first really special piece that I got.
The plaid jeans are 511™. They’re probably from the late 2000s — I found them online, too. I guess that’s the cool thing about Levi’s®. If you want something, we probably made it at some point.
