I assumed that these would be like the Y2K version from years ago, but I was wrong. Originally I sized up to what I thought would fit around my hips, but I didn't need to. I went with my original size. They are tight in all of the right places, and I have received so many compliments. These are quality denim, that I plan on having in my wardrobe for a very long time!

It is not a stretchy material so it retains its shape better for repeated wearings. The pant leg is the right amount of form fitting at the upper leg - not tight or baggy. The boot cut leg is just right and works well with ankle boots or shoes.
