Turns out Trash is super cozy

The recycled fiber woven into the shells of our new Puffer jackets and vests doesn’t just reduce our environmental impact — it’s also packed with performance benefits. Expect lots of moisture-wicking goodness, adaptive warming and cooling, water repellency and extra durability.

In order to make this recycled polyester, we shred old plastic bottles and discarded polyester fabric and turn them into chips. We then transform those chips into the usable fiber materials found in our latest designs. So you get the same Levi’s® look and feel you love while keeping waste out of the landfills. Plus, recycled polyester requires less energy to make than virgin polyester and it reduces our dependency on fossil fuels. Pretty cool, right? Whatever style you choose, we want to see how you sustainably #LiveInLevis — join the conversation on social and stay tuned here for more news on how we’re making things better.
