I love these jeans. I am a senior and like the fact that they are at my waist rather then my hips. I am thin and have very small hips but a larger waist. So they fit me very well. I am 5ft 6” and they are a good fit in length also. One of my issues with other jeans not long enough.

I’ve lost 40 lbs in the last 5 1/2 months so I needed new jeans. I really like the fit and the higher waist. I read reviews first. Some reviewers were disgruntled because the jean they bought (probably on-line) had lines on the side of the leg. The line or stripe is a darker shade of denim. When you look at these on-line it doesn’t show the stripe. I bought this pair in the store and I noticed some of this exact same model of jean had those ugly stripes all the way up the outside leg on both sides and some did not. So of course I bought a pair without those stripes. If a person orders these jeans online, they take the chance of being sent a pair with the stripes. I was so glad I was at the store trying the jeans on in person and I was so glad that I read the reviews first for the heads up. This jean has a great fit. I don’t know why all of them weren’t made exactly the same. Hope this helps you.

I’m 5’8”, 124 lbs and ordered 28 Tall. It was nice and stretchy and long in the legs but the waist was a little snug. So I exchanged for a 29 T and they are perfect and so comfortable. My cowboy boots fit under them without looking tight in the calf. These are a true inky black and I just love them!

I am slightly shocked, as this fit has finally returned after going away in the ‘90s. As someone of a certain age who was a teenager in the 1970s, this fit feels like those pants (although not flared). In those days there were no different cuts; you wore women’s jeans or men’s jeans. Women’s jeans were cut so that the waist was above the belly button. If you are long-waisted, especially, this is a great looking and very comfortable fit. If you tuck in your top, it will stay tucked when you sit down. They make you look skinnier and taller. The bit of stretch in the new fabric is a help because we are not as slim as we used to be.

I purchased these in the zipper fly style in my normal size 6 for Levi jeans. By the on line pic, I thought these would be a slimmer fit. But they were very loose through the leg, and overall, too big. But even a 4 wouldn’t have fit to my liking. I returned them.
