With a classic straight leg and iconic styling, they’re literally the blueprint for every pair of jeans in existence—burned into the world’s collective cortex ever since Levi Strauss (the man himself!) introduced them in 1873. These jeans are made with 97% bio-based content including wood-waste ink, indigo dye, organically grown cotton and a plant-based patch.

Comfortable jeans, 1 (width) size up

I bought 1 size up (width) because there's no elastane in the fabric and I find most jeans without to be quite stiff. This 1 size bigger fits perfectly. Length is as usual. I like the high rise, straight bottom and button fly.

I am so happy for these plant based jeans! The fit is relaxed, the material is durable and comfortable. I am allergic to synthetic dyes and these mean I can wear blue jeans again.

Purchased the originals 501's for my daughter size 29/31 for xmas. Her first ever pair, they fit perfectly, over the moon with them. Says they are so soft, brilliant leg length and loved the colour i picked.

OMG these jeans! They're so soft and pliable without all the stretchy crap. Immediately felt like my favorite old pair of comfy jeans. Not sure I'll be dressing these up too much. They run large though, I had to size down from my normal Levi's size

Sehr weit, sehr hoher Bund und trotz der Länge 30, etwas zu lang. Sonst passt mir die 32/30 bei der 501 perfekt. Behalte sie als bequeme Freizeithose.

Hose sitzt gut, so wie man das von früher kennt. Knöpfe statt Reißverschluß ist Gewöhnungsbedürftig. Einziges Manko: Farbe ist viel heller als auf dem Foto. Deshalb zurück.

ECHT SCHWIERIG die richtige Größe zu finden

In den 90er Jahren habe ich nur die LEVIS 501 getragen, die Größe 32/30 brauchte ich nur aus dem Regal zu nehmen und an der Kasse bezahlen - passte IMMER. Jetzt, fast 30 Jahre später und mit ca. 4-8 kg mehr auf der Hüfte war es echt nicht leicht, die richtige Größe zu finden zumal der Größenhinweis auf der Homepage total irreführend ist. Von 3 Bestellungen musste ich leider 2 zurückschicken weil die Hosen nicht passten. 501 90s STITCH SCHOOL (Angabe: fällt etwas groß aus) In Größe 32/30 bestellt weil ich ja bisschen zugenommen habe, die Jeans ging zu, war aber sehr sehr eng. 501 ORIGINAL: NEEDED NEWS CIRCULAR (Angabe: fällt sehr groß aus) In Größe 32/32 bestellt, war viel zu klein, da ging nichtmal der Knopf zu. 501 PLANT BASED: BLUE FROM GREEN (Angabe: fällt etwas groß aus) In Größe 34/30 bestellt (da die anderen Hosen entgegen der Angaben "zu groß" alle eher "zu klein" ausgefallen sind) und diese Hose war leider viel zu groß. 501 PLANT BASED: INDIGO BOTANICS (Angabe: fällt groß aus) In Größe 32/30 bestellt - ENDLICH, SIE PASST - die Knöpfe gehen gut zu, sie ist ein bisschen eng aber die Jeans geben ja noch ein wenig nach. Insgesamt vergebe ich 4 STERNE, alle Jeans hatten eine gute Qualität, wurden schnell geliefert, die Retoure ist einfach und das Geld zeitnah zurück. Wären die Größenangaben auf der Homepage besser würde ich 5 Sterne vergeben.

No es fiel a la talla y pliegue muy raro

El color “same intent” es precioso, sin embargo, lo he devuelto porque, teniendo una talla 38 de jeans, la talla 27x30 me queda bastante ajustada. De largo me queda perfecto, eso sí (mido 1.70cm). Además, la tela hace dos pliegues muy feos hacia afuera a la altura de la parte exterior de las rodillas y la forma del pantalón pierde su gracia. No es en mejor fit para mí, ni siquiera (creo) con una talla más, por desgracia.
