In 1934, we introduced the first five-pocket jean especially built for women: the 701®. Made famous by the premiere American fashion magazine of its time, the 701® had a distinctly high-waisted, more curved fit. Today, we reproduced these glossy magazine-approved 1950s Women's 701 Jeans stitch-for-stitch using premium selvedge denim.

Best pair of jeans I have ever owned. Lightweight denim, hugs my waist for an emphasis on curves, fashion forward straight legs, and selvedge on the turned up cuff looks great. I own three pairs. Two in size 25 and one in size 26 for winter when I wear long johns for warmth. I am 5’3’ and 100 lbs.

OBSESSED with these jeans!

They are so freaking cute and make your legs look like a million miles long. I tend to have a more boyish body type and these make me look like I have a waist. Just super duper flattering, and love the fabric. Worth every penny.

Very nice cutting at waist and butt area. The fabric was a bit rough before wash, but it became soft and comfortable after the first wash.

Bravo Levis! More Please

Levi's are the only jeans that I wear and these stunners are my latest purchase. They are metallic blue which come up high on the waist and makes your make your legs look skyscraper long. Levi's is once again making the waist enhancing jeans. Take an honest measurement of your waist and think 100% cotton, no give (initially), 100% cotton, no give and you will probably be happy with your purchase. If you desire a fair whack of comfort, I would consider trying two sizes, one a bit larger and one what you think is your actual waistline. I have not washed them yet but know I will use cold and hang to dry and expect them to wash beautifully.

Perfect jeans, for my body.

I liked these so much I purchased a second pair. When I first pulled them on I thought there was no way they would fit because they felt a little tight going over my hips. But they fit as if they were tailor-made for me. Absolutely perfect. They say they are pre-shrunk, and I purchased a 32 inseam to allow for some shrinkage. So, I will have to get these hemmed, I guess. But I have ordered a 30 seam to see whether those are a better length. For reference, I am 5’11, 134 lbs., long-waisted. I am a size 6 in most clothing. I ordered a size 28.
