I liked the light feel of the dress, when i tried on a medium (normal size) it was snug in the hips only(36’). So i tried on the Large and found it was more A line in the hips . I had my seamstress take it in under the armpit and a couple inches down. Now its how i like a dress to fit. My seamstress always says to me, If its too tight, size up and she can size it to my body. I’m 5’3” and the dress is above my knees. Very pretty dress

I liked this dress so much that I bought it in both colors. A great casual summer staple. Fabric is comfortable and not too thick, it runs true to size.

I saw this in black denim but it was a bit pricey. Much better price at Macy’s. The corduroy version fits just as well as the denim, in fact, maybe a little better because the fabric is not as stiff. This will transition well into spring, then again in the fall. Love it!

Based on the reviews stating it was small, I used the chart and went with an XL. I love the length. It’s slightly loose in the shoulders / armpits and I have a little room in the chest. I could have tried the L but didn’t want to be disappointed if it was too small. I can wear this comfortably as is though. I’m 5’6, 170 lbs, and wear a 36D / size 12/14 in pants.
