J’ai dû insister auprès de mes parents pour qu’ils m’achètent mon premier jean Levi’s, à l’âge de 11 ans. À mon sens, la seule innovation depuis cette époque, c’est que je n’ai plus besoin de rester assis dans la baignoire avec mon jean pour m’assurer qu’il m’ira toute ma vie. Comme j’ai aujourd’hui 73 ans, c’est un grand avantage, car j’ai du mal à sortir de la baignoire. En 62 ans, je n’ai jamais perdu mes clés (poche avant gauche) ni mon portefeuille (poche arrière droite). J’ai essayé les bretelles ainsi que les ceintures, mais je n’ai JAMAIS essayé d’autres modèles de jeans. La seule variation autorisée concerne la couleur et le numéro de taille, mais je reviens toujours aux 501.
