Loved the quality of these. The stitching particularly. Really wanted to keep them but I needed the 527 with the 10 3/4" front rise (I typically wear 514). Please make Premium 527s!

Love my 527s, so ordered these 517s for a slight change of style. Not disappointed, fast delivery, great fit.

Everything you would expect from a pair of Levi jeans. The 517 dates from 1969 and these jeans do have a discreet retro feel to them. The bootcut (widening below the knee) is quite subtle. They fit true to size 32x34.

Fit was near perfect even for a slim person like me. Denim was smooth with a slight sheen, which is what I prefer. I wish they would make a darker denim that would match the high quality of these 517’s. Leather patch too. Will order a few more pairs if still on sale.

These Jeans are nice! The fit is on point. This is a class darker denim wash, which is nice.These have no stretch so for me I had to go up a size for them to fit comfortably.

Great jeans, no stretch at all which I really like. Good fit at the waist which is often hard to find for a 31'' Good flare at the bottom, length good, slightly long for trainers but I prefer that to too short.

I love that the 517 boot cut has more belt loops than any other of Levi jeans. The 2 extra belt loops are what makes these jeans special. Thank you.

Levi’s have never let me down & so the story continues..

The denim is a really nice weight (I believe 14oz) and the cut together with copper stitching has a classic look that is still relevant. They make a great alternative to the 501 and as much as I love 501s and will continue to buy them, these are better quality (mainly the weight of the denim and a slightly darker wash). Putting these on for the first time was like putting on a pair of vintage Levis. After the first wash, there was a small amount of shrinkage but a normal amount for Levis - a little bit off the length but the waist will stretch back out again. I have two pairs and find the sizing and shrinkage to be consistent. There was no more shrinkage in subsequent washes. I read a number of reviews complaining about shrinkage and all I can say is, just don't put these (or any jeans) in your spin drier. These are incredible jeans - very stylish and such good quality that they are a bargain at full price.
