Switched from 527 to 517s and don't regret it one bit. The have the same slim fit and at the same time the bootcut is less noticeable. Definitely recommend these if you are deciding between the two

I have owned over 20 pairs of these Levi 527 Bootcut Jeans. The fit is perfect if you purchase your correct size. If you follow their manufacturer instructions on care, then these jeans can literally last 5-7 years, easy with regular wear. I made a mistake and tried some other fits and some other designers, it was a waste of my money. Levi's are the ONLY jeans I will purchase for me or my family.
