My husband has worn nothing but 517 or 527 Levis our whole lives. I bought these because they were on sale and figured for the price if he didn't like them I wasn't out much. Well I have ordered 2-3 more pairs several times when they go back on sale. He stopped wearing the others altogether. The Nebraska summers are hot and humid and these keep him cooler. They have just enough stretch so when you are on your knees working on cars they are comfortable and they wash up very nice as well. Not sure what the winter will be like but we shall see. Yes I would recommend to anyone. My husband is 57 he is tall and slim and wears a 30X34. They fit perfect true to size.
