I have gained some weight within in the last year and my short stature certainly shows it :( I'm 5'1" and it's been insanely difficult to find comfortable, vintage looking non stretch denim shorts that don't make me feel like a manatee. These fit every bill. I got a size 30, they're perfect. The A-line leg openings and waist fit like a dream, still with room to sit down comfortably. A+ denim shorts.
