These come raw, stiff, and are the OG Levi's. With a small amount of wear they get softer. I am not washing because I like the fit out the gate.

Tolle Jeans in Selvedge Qualität. Leider trägt das Model die Jeans viel zu gross was nicht sehr vorteilhaft aussieht. Es reicht, wenn man diese Selvedge Jeans eine Nummer grösser und länger als üblich kauft da sie beim ersten Waschen eingeht. Ausserdem wird der Stoff nach dem ersten Waschen und Tragen weicher.

The wait is over!

I’ve been waiting for Levis to make these for a long time! Sizing is an issue though with shrink to fit as it’s very unpredictable and an expensive gamble… bought a man’s shrink to fit and they shrunk too small! so I have decided to just buy my normal size in these and not wash them. My normal 27 inch waist in these fit great but I can’t afford shrinkage, If I was buying shrink to fit I would buy 3 to 4 inches bigger round the waist not 2 (mistake I made last time…’2 sizes bigger’ is actually more like 4 inches bigger than your normal waist size not 2 inches) these are a lovely fit, very high waisted and unlike the men’s, not quite a wide in the lower leg. I also normally buy 26 length as I’m short, these are a bit long but that’s the whole point with selvedge so you can cuff them.

Beautiful & timeless, exceptional quality selvedge denim. Got the original colour- dark blue. Got the usual size and I would say this is how they’re meant to fit- loose fitting. Classic and timeless, not following any fashion, this is more of a style statement. Planning not to wash them so did not size up.

It’s kind of wild to say but i believe ive never tried Levi jeans before!! I got these today and they feel amazing!! You can definitely tell they are good quality!! I’ve heard so many good things about Levi’s and I’m glad I’m able to finally test them out!

Small grumble

I purchased these Levis for the orginality of them, only to find that if id washed them they would have shrunk two sizes. The instructions could have been much clearer.
Im a huge fan of Levi, and have numerous pairs. This is a genuine grumble.

Love these jeans - they fit perfectly. I bought them in size 24 and they fit perfectly. I normally wear 24/25. But once I got them, I read that they are shrink to fit. I decided to keep them anyway because they fit so well. They aren't the tightest but they fit well. I don't know if I'm going to wash them or not due to shrinkage.

Timeless Fit, Just a Bit Big

If you’re looking for a classic American blue jean, these are it. Dark wash, 100% cotton, button fly, perfect mid rise, and a straight leg that never goes out of style. I’m 5'3" and 125 lbs, and I went with a 27" waist—but I wish I had sized down to a 26". They definitely run a bit big in the waist.

I'm an aspiring raw denimhead, and i love a pair of 501s. I originally ordered a 28, which fit but was snug, and i read up on the shrink to fit and decided to go with a 29. They were roomy in the waist out of the package but i cold soaked mine for about 30 minutes, then hung them to dry. I could shrink mine a bit more but am going to wear them. They fit much better!

This is THE jean I have been searching for. The stiff, 100% cotton, rinse color, fit that can't be beat. I bought the 27x30, and may purchase another but of a 26x30 for a tighter fit. Hope to have these jeans for the next 50 years.

Love the feel of the raw denim. Feels like they’ll last a lifetime. The sizing runs large i would say. I’m usually a 27, but had to return for a smaller size. The 27 measures 15 inches at the waist. 19 inches at the hip and the rise is 11 inches.

I bought the STF.one size up in waist, 32 inseam.
Tried the tub soak hot water method.
Did not shrink.
Then I washed them in hot water. Hot dry.
They fit ok. I’m 5”4 160 with more belly nowadays.
So I’m not looking for form fit flattery anymore.
However, I I was, then I would have ordered my try size.
The inseam did shrink 1 inch.
