These jeans are great except I read they would shrink so I washed them. They don’t shrink. Now I have to give them away because they are to long and my sewing machine won’t sew that thick material for the hem.

I just got these from Levi yesterday and they are perfect, I also bought a pair from Amazon and they were oversized, the pair from Amazon I washed them in Hot water and dried them on high heat and they shrunk enough that I added them to my work jeans. Both pair were 517 Rinse 34/30. Last 6 weeks I have bought 10 pairs of Levis, 9 from Levi App and 1 from Amazon all the ones from Levis were perfect in every way. I will only buy Levis from Levis, cant trust Amazon when it comes to Levi Jeans

Levi 517 are my go to jeans. Wish I could still get them in ridged.

Ive been wearing jeans for a long while...Im 72 years old. Earlier in life, I wore a less expensive brand and found the fit acceptable. One piece of information I never knew until I started buying Levi jeans was that jeans should be turned inside out to be washed and dried. And since Ive been buying Levi brand jeans and turning them inside out, they do not fade (or at least have not yet begun to fade). Levi 517 boot cut jeans fit me better at the waist than other brands and allow me to wear boots or shoes without being flared too much. Just learning that jeans should be turned inside out to wash and dry has made a difference in the durability of the jeans. I now own 6 pair of Levi 517 jeans and they are my daily wear since I am retired from work. They are very comfortable and the watch pocket is a convenient place to keep some things separate from the front pocket and easier to retrieve.
