High waisted and versatile to be worn folded into shorter lengths or to be worn as mid thigh perfectly. Goes well with cropped tops.

Shorts were a good fit around my waist and hips. Really like the light blue shade for wearing during the summertime and holidays. Note these shorts do not give and are stiff like 501 Original.

They fit was nice on my waist but, when it came to my thighs they were super loose like the shape of a cow bell.

Ordered some womens 501 shorts. Although They run small, they were a good length on my long legs. Im 5”ll and they came to half my thigh length. I returned them to the shop thinking id try on a larger size in-store. Horrified to find all the 501 shorts in-store had been cut and frayed into very short knickers. Even the mom shorts were shaped like knickers. So its either jorts which are horrible and wide male looking shorts that arent flattering at all or frayed leaving nothing to the imagination as they go up your bum crack denim knickers. Why not leave the 501 shorts how they are online and let the customer decide if they want to walk around with denim see through knickers on? Before you say its retro 90s grunge. No its not. I was alive in the 1990s and lived through grunge. Levis have always been expensive although you get what you pay for which is proper non stretch denim. 501s frayed from age. Some people would eventually cut them into shorts. That naturally frayed over time But no one wore them with their bums on show!
